I bought this book for my nieces and I’m disappointed in the choice of Leonardo’s work that the author decided to include in this CHILDREN’S book. As fantastic as the Vitruvian man is, there are hundreds of other appropriate options that could have been chosen. The Vitruvian man is shown twice in this book.

I was hesitant to buy this book because it did not have any other reviews. I am so glad I did however, because it is the perfect addition to my art class library. It teaches kids in a simple brief way about the 4 classic artists, and it is just right for what I needed.
