12x14 FT Wooden Pergola, Cedar Wood Gazebo with Flat Roof, Outdoor Garden Shelter with Stakes Included, Patio, Deck, Backyard, Lawn

Took about 4 hours to put up between 2 people. Had to use my own concrete anchors to fasten into the concrete since my package didn’t come with some. The wood has very nice finish but it’s mostly hollow. Still would buy again if I could. Great product for the price.

Good: Solid product and sturdy. People saying they did this by themselves I doubt that Bad: Some pieces aren't marked for alignment or pre-drilled so you can possibly later in assembly have something not line up correctly.

It is a good product for the inexpensive price. It is light weight. Lots of piecing smaller parts together and lots of bolts seen throughout. The boards on the very top do not align well together. We are planning on making some type of patch that will lock the two boards together more securely. We are fairly happy with it. It does look great in the yard. We will be sealing it soon so that the color does not turn.

Unique because of the dual rafters, most pergolas do not have that. Item packaged in 3 boxes upon delivery. Super easy install…. Although it’s really a 2person job and even 3/4 persons to get it upright and squared. Didn’t like that two areas did not have pilot holes is really the only negative.

Pergola came in three separate shipments. The instructions were sketchy. We had to guess how to put some parts together. It would have been nice to have some written instructions along with the pictures. We ended up redoing some steps. We had to purchase and apply braces to the top boards as the brackets provided were flimsy. We felt that once the boards got wet a number of times, they would begin to warp. We went even further and added oak buttons to all the openings above and below the screws. This was additional cost of about $75. Do yourself a huge favor and treat the wood prior to assembling. We had to treat it after one year as the wood is not treated to withstand the elements in South Carolina.

The Pergola looks nice enough when finished. It’s a bit of an Amazon special, a few of the top pieces are off center. However, after we had put it together we realized it wasn’t the size we had ordered. I ordered the 12x14, but what I received is 10x12 at the widest points of the base posts. So it’s either the pergola is smaller than advertised, or I was sent the wrong one. Seller has refused to work with us to rectify the mistake in any way. Order at your own risk, or better yet, pay a little more and order from Home Depot or somewhere with a better customer service policy and more accurate measurements.

I had two carpenters come and install this. Theywere so impressed with everything start to finish.
