pros: easy setup. nice outward appearance if you dont mind the somewhat tacky faux wood paneling. chrome controls are a nice touch and are intuitively easy to use. the LCD lights up by simply just touching anywhere on the controls. many different combinations of rotations possible: cw, ccw, bidirectional, 300 to 1200 tpd (turns per day) in 50 tpd increments. up to 72 hr delay start to allow full unwinding of main spring before beginning rotations. nice storagecompartment on top holds up to four extra watches. very quiet operation. either AC powered or batteries (4 D-sized batteries).cons: watch cuffs are large and really meant for oversize watches (not a negative if you require this). somewhattricky to open; should be placed on nonskid surface otherwise it slides back as you press the latch and attempt tolift the top off. locking mechanism good for keeping toddlers out but thats all.overall nice quality double watch winder with extra storage for up to four watches. product dimensions are differentfrom what is listed in product description: 9" High x 13.5" Wide x 8" Deep. has external AC power with internationalplug adapters to fit most outlets worlwide operating 100 to 240v at 50/60 Hz. also uses 4 "D" sized batteries but idont know how long it runs on batteries --it will depend on your settings and battery quality.to determine the tpd required for your watch go to the orbita website for a list of most automatic watches. setting thetpd specific to your watch is important since you really dont want to keep your watch fully wound 365 days of the year;even though todays automatics wont overwind you can still overstress the main spring. if you use the bidirectionalrotation keep in mind you double the number of tpd. i've only had this for a few days and i am pleased with my purchaseso far especially at the heavily discounted price.

Exceptional product. As advertised. Fine craftsmanship. Large but providing a presence that is substantial and elegant. Quite motors and accurate. Multiple settings allow customization and easy to do. Read instructions once and you are good to go. I have had it for about 6 months and so far flawless. I have it for my Tag Grand Carrera and Tag Aquaracer dive time pieces. I use the top storage for three other watches which fit nicely. The only complaint is that it is way too expensive and I believe overpriced. Unfortunately, I have not seen any other that are quite as striking in looks and quality. My rationalization is that if I bought those timepieces, then I should be able to buy the winder. It was close. Buy it if you can afford it. There are many autowinders out there that would perform this function just fine at even less then $100.00. This one makes a statement. What that statement is depends on the observer. Ridiculously overpriced with pompous and narcissistic owner who probably drives a BMW that likely tailgated you all the way into work this morning vs someone who appreciates fine design, craftsmanship and aesthetic who drives a nondescript Mercedes Benz in the right lane slightly over the speed limit listening to Rachmaninoff on the way to their board meeting. I drive a 2006 Toyota Four Runner listening to Jethro Tull because I have ridiculous amount of student loans who enjoys buying nice things once in awhile when I get a bonus at work.

This is a super high quality watch winder. I didn't really want to spend the money on it but I've had other winders that make noise and die after a year. So far I am loving this one. The only complaint is they did not include a smaller size cushion that would fit my wife's watch. She has a small wrist and the smallest cushion they provide is too small (watch flops around) and the next size up is too big (her watch won't close around it). I had to be creative and use a small stack of cotton makeup wipes to get it to be just the right size. I would have given it 5 stars except for that.

This is a really cool unit. Great new leather smell. Love the presentation of my automatics up front. Plus holds my 3 quartz watches perfectly snug up top.Pros: The winders are absolutely silent as advertised.(It sits on my night stand close by) Easy to program too. The winder storage opens from the top down(Draw bridge style). You will have to open up the top lid to access winders. Cool part though is the clear door is magnetized lightly to prevent it from falling down with gravity.Slight cons: I wish there was an option to purchase this with the smaller watch cuffs for those of us that have small wrists. For the watch winder itself, there are 2 power options: 1)Start rotating; 2)Time delay rotation. I don't have any problems with the first option, however, I have a nit-picky thing about the second. On the time delay, the rotation isn't perfect. Meaning, when the it goes through its scheduled rotation(the first 200 winds out of 800) the watch does not end up upright in presenting form. So the watch is positioned from 1 to 7 O'clock as opposed to 6 and 12. Hope this makes sense. Like I said, it is a picky thing for me.The lock key is very flimsy. No real use unless you have little ones that get into stuff. By no means will this stop anyone from getting in though.The bottom is smooth with leather, therefore there is no traction. You will have to purchase rubber feet(I bought the clear ones at Walmart) to prevent it from sliding around on a smooth surface.Other than this, I love it! Little costly, but it's the price you pay for quality.

I've had this for 4 years now and it still works great and is so quiet. It lasts a long time on batteries but I have it plugged in now with the included adapter.Definitely a good purchase.

The item is very safely packaged. Excellent quality. Silent operation. It would be even better if there is an instruction video.
