hoping for the best. In terms of size and fit
A lot has already been said, so I'll just try to add what I can. These gloves utilize Thinsulate technology to keep your hands warm... which is basically run of the mill - they do not provide much extra warmth from any other common winter glove.I bought these basically for their available sizes. There's a lot of feedback regarding sizing up or down; however, I think a lot of people might not know what to expect in terms of proper fit of gloves. I found these to be true to size.I'm male with small hands - size 8 when it comes to properly fitting leather gloves. That is tight enough to let the leather stretch a bit to form fit the hands and fingers after a few uses; not so tight that I'm not able to get all my fingers in. I bought these Heritage gloves also in size 8, hoping for the best. In terms of size and fit, I got the best. They were tight the first time I put them on. Now, after wearing them for a couple of weeks, they've stretched enough that I don't have a problem slipping them on.They feel secure on my hands and I have good mobility with them. Department store gloves come only in Small, Medium, Large and maybe Extra Large. On the rare occurrence that I can find a small pair, the fingers may still not fit as well as I would like. These gloves wrap the fingers well. With most other gloves I've owned in the past, there's some space in the fingers and that's enough to either make them a little less maneuverable or a little less warm. Your mileage may vary because hands are not all proportionally the same. It's been fairly cold in the teens these past few weeks in Boston. These have kept my hands warm for the 15-20 minutes I'm outside waiting for the commuter rail or walking home. After 20 minutes, I feel my hands grow a bit colder... but definitely not freezing cold. I wear a suit to work and I used to think I needed fashionable black leather gloves to go with my top coat. A bit older and wiser, I now opt for function over form. These are definitely warmer than leather gloves. They also don't look like bulky winter gloves that Columbia or Northface make.I also used these when operating the snow blower and shoveling during the 2015 Juno blizzard. I never noticed the cold in my hands despite being outside for 3 hours. This is probably largely due to being on the move and building up enough body heat to stay warm. They did not get wet from the outside, but rather got wet from the sweat my hands built up - this is not uncommon with any pair of gloves. I did notice that they take a while to dry out. I actually did put them on wet before going out a couple of occasions, but they were otherwise pretty comfortable.Would I buy these again? Probably not... would like to try something else. I don't regret buying these at all. I'd just like to see what else is out there. I don't think it will be very soon, though.

Nice winter gloves
Lets get this out of the way, I have never ridden a horse. So if you are looking for opinions about using these gloves for their intended purpose of horseback riding then skip to the next review.I was looking for some nice warm winter gloves that still left me with the dexterity to say, put my cell phone in my pocket without taking the gloves off. These gloves fit the bill. They are very warm but still flexible enough to be able to use my fingers pretty well. They also seem to be extremely durable as I imagine they would have to be to use them horseback riding.I think the stretchy warm cuff of the glove that snugly fits your wrist has a lot to do with the warmth of these gloves as it seems to be pretty effective at trapping the heat in there. They seem to be pretty water resistant. As a test I put them under my kitchen faucet and the water mostly just beaded off the glove.Pros:-Warm-Good dexterity for the size of glove-Kind of nice and a little high tech looking-Pretty water resistantCons:-A little pricey-Don't have that nifty feature where you can use a cell phone touch screen with them on (not that I would fault them for not having that being that as far as I know horses aren't generally equipped with touch screen displays). I'm thinking of ordering some of that conductive thread and sewing it in to the fingers to make these touch screen compatible.Side note: There is an older version of this glove out there with the same name and description. You can tell it's the older version based on the photos of the glove (they look somewhat different). The reviews that I read for the older one were fairly bad and they don't look as nice aesthetically so if you order the gloves somewhere just make sure the photo shows the new ones. You can see the new ones for reference on the manufacturers website.

I'm happy with my purchase
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, which was intended to be used in 0+ weather for photography.Pros:1. Fit well, fit comfortably2. Good freedom of movement. Most of the time when taking photos I did not need to remove my glove.3. Warm in good conditions down to the teens (Fahrenheit) (though see "con" below)4. Warmer pocket is pretty good size, so can hold other objects like keys.5. Decent waterproofingCons:1. Mine definitely DID NOT work with my iPhone 6s touch screen. Either I got an old pair, or something changed in the touchscreen technology to make the gloves obsolete.2. The waterproofing is decent, but not excellent. If you are in very inclement weather or will be building snow forts, you'll get some dampness. I'm not sure how long they go before they have significant water penetration, but for the average outdoor enthusiast/walker/hiker these are probably fine.3. The position of the glove warmer pocket on top is better than no pocket for one, but it doesn't do a ton to warm the hands. Still glad to have it than not to have it.4. Warmth: I wore them in 15-30 degree weather for a few days and was ok. However, most of the time I was somewhat active, at least walking around. If I had to stand in one place for a while these might not be great, and likely wouldn't be great if you were in significant snow or a decent rain.On the whole I can recommend these assuming you're not going to be in direct rain or snow for a while and won't be standing still in anything below the 30s. For use in 30-degree weather or above, these will probably do just fine for you.

Arrepentido de comprarlos
No me duraron ni dos meses, se rompió por la palma, no son de muy buen material. Abrigan bien la mano a temperaturas de 15 grados centígrados.

Canadian Prairies Approved!
Size is perfect. I haven’t had a chance to use the heat pack pockets but I like the idea. So far in about -10 to -15 degrees C they’ve been really good, my hands sweat. I have Reynaud’s so that’s impressive. Weather hasn’t been cold enough yet to try them in real winter weather but I’m optimistic!

Love these - they are very warm but nice and thin - they look great and they feel great. They have great flexibility allowing for really decent dexterity for gloves of this kind.Touch screen part doesn't work on mine but I'd find it annoying to text in thicker gloves anyway. The size chart allowed me to pick the perfect fit. I would get these again for sure. Not sure about longevity but they look solidly made. They don't look exactly like the pic when I'm wearing them but in terms of gloves I think these are the closest to the picture I have seen yet.

Better than most
These gloves are warm but I still found my hands to be cold when it was -10 or lower. I haven't tried the heat pack part yet so that may make a difference. They are good for working around the barn- the grips are in the right spot. They would be bulky for riding so I wouldn't wear them to ride unless you have a really loose rein. They seem to be holding up well which is more then I can say for most winter gloves.
