Trying to be gentle with these, you won't get uniform blocks, but they are absolutely perfect for coolers, or gallon jugs. I recommend just letting them sit a bit and these drop out with minimal loss. You can see how they turned out. Not pretty, but...it's ice.

I tried using other trays, but they sagged causing the cube to be deformed. These are sturdy with ribs for extra support. Plus the material is thick as well, not flimsy like others. The only initial concern was the smell right out of the package. I left these out for a while to breath and then washed them before use. Otherwise, seem well made and I look forward to using them for ice bath or even icing a cooler.

These are stackable, even without lids and freeze faster than my ones with lids. They’re so good I bought multiple so I can use them instead of my other set. I’m planning to buy more because they’re convenient. I can or make a full gallon bag ziplock with two blocks at a good speed.

sometimes little ice cubes are not what you need you need a nice big block of ice I've tried using different bowls and square plastic containers that I have here to make this. But this works really well it makes a decent sized block of ice that removes eat very easily no fighting with it. I make these ahead of time and keep them for all kinds of things but one of them is I have those jugs with the spigots on them and they take a lot of Cubes I'm just drop one or two of these in and it's good for hours here you very happy with this

Works great for what it is. We were needing flat bottom ice bricks but can’t stack them and get that, top one gets a bulge in the bottom and haven’t been able to get it to go away even if I warm it up. Permanent bulge.

I highly recommend using these for industrial use. When I poured hot water into them to clean them out before using for gelatin dessert molds, plastic bits rose to the surface. And the smell is toxic poxy smell. I didn’t give them a chance to air out but I suspect not good for food use. I threw them out immediately. I didn’t want to chance it with all the toxic smell.

Ice can be easily removed after 3 hours and the trays refilled. The blocks require 10 hours to freeze completely. I plane on buying two more.
