Great value if you can wear the size
Great watch, providing you have a wrist of at least 7 inches. I was missing a gilt watch from my collection and this is perfect. It's the largest size I could have but I have paired it with a two tone bracelet and it looks superb in my opinion.

A good solid Casio budget dive watch you can trust
I’m a watch collector my favourite watches are divers. I have 21 Invicta automatic pro divers which are all fantastic budget watches which have not let me down over the years! Also have a few other more expensive other brands! Because this one is quartz it put me off buying it for a long time, but I’m glad I did so! The price was cheaper than any of my other divers and the colour way I liked. It looked big and bold to read and was very accurate one or two seconds a month with my one! It’s certainly be accurate with in 15 seconds a month at most with yours! So it’s a pick up and go watch! It has a screw down crown like all dive watches have. WARNING! You have to remember to screw down the crown after setting the time or date to keep out the water which is up to 200m It’s a big watch though not very thick, those with under 7 inch wrist it will look oversized! The only other thing is that the lume doesn’t last long only a few short minutes! For the price you get a well made watch.

Love the looks!!!
Likes: Amazing (watch) build quality & excellent value for the money - under £60 at time of purchase: late Oct' to Early Nov' 2023 - if it holds up to MY use over the lifetime of the battery AT LEAST TWO YEARS I hope. LOVE the Shiny Blue Dial, & style of thbeliev shed lumed hands. The Seconds hand DOES line up properly as far as I can see on ALL of the sec/min markers - except for 1 or 2 between 7pm & 10pm. Light weight - you barely know it is there (that is good for some, but maybe not others), which I LIKE in the case of THIS watch because I will NOT be using as a 'Dive' watch. It looks 'too nice' to ruin it doing that. DISLIKES: The BLACK rubber/plastic strap that it comes with - removed with minutes of trying on, even though it felt 'sort of ok', but no thanks. My comment HERE is about the look & fit of the original strap, not the 'quality' of its material. I will be keeping the original - just in case, like with ALL my 'originals'. ONLY 5 of my watch collection still wear the 'originals' (including a titanuim bracelet on one watch), since there are currently no good or better alternatives available. 16 watches have BETTER fitting for ME (& I hope long lasting) & certainly more comfortable alternatives fitted, including on THIS watch. While the seconds hand is quite nice as it is - a large arrow - it would be nice/better to have a RED version of it as that would stand out well or better against the dark shiny blue dial. For a 'dive' watch the lume is utter rubbish, so don't believe anyone who says it is ok for 'swimming'. It is so dim you would need 'Eagle Eyes' with its Ultra Violet & Infra Red Night Vision Goggles to use it successfully diving. But it is less than £60, so........whatever. Would be so much better with SAPPHIRE Glass instead of cheap mineral glass. To Casio I would say (they would not care though probably): Include Sapphire Glass & Lume that actually works. Do NOTHING else to the watch (return the Marlin Logo on CURRENT models that do NOT have it), except MAYBE inprove the stiffness of the bezel clicks - make it STIFFER so as not to move in use. KEEP the '200m' WR Double the price (to about £120) & it would still be good value. Also include a steel bracelet option - with a divers extension & more than three adjustment holes on a MILLED CLASP, plus four or five removable links at each side of the clasp - & do NOT use 'folded' links - for about £40- £50 MAX extra, when buying the watch NEW. DUMP the '50m WR' model, not worth bothering with - a 'divers' watch needs a BIG dial, with readable lume, & a good WR level. That model has NONE of it.

A very good watch and superb budget buy.
As someone who has several high end watches, after a rather expensive repair I wanted a watch I could wear doing any job without the worry of damaging it. The Casio Duro Marlin ticked all the boxes, and with many top reviews on-line it certainly has an excellent reputation. It is also my first quartz watch. Firstly, the photo shows how the watch arrived from Amazon in a torn and bashed box which was rather disappointing. However, saying that it arrived from the US in six days, six days earlier than advertised and for the cheap knock down price of £50, it wasn’t worth sending back for a new one as the watch was undamaged but it is also now more expensive. NOTE - the spec details say the watch has a 20mm band width, this is WRONG it has a 22mm width. I purchased the silver/black version and the watch has a really nice clear face, it feels robust and has a good weight to it and certainly looks more expensive than it is. The screw down Crown feels very good and is easy to use for a hack and the watch is also pretty much silent. The movement is certainly very accurate and in tests over a week it didn’t drop a second. The strap is okay and is also comfortable but not to my tastes, so I soon swapped it for an Archers Black 22mm NATO strap which I think looks much better. Reports of the lume being poor is not the case with mine, and after a charge on going to bed when I woke up at 5:30am and I could still read it well. For those with a small wrist you may find the Duro’s 44mm case a bit on the large size, and it is right on the very limit for my smallish size wrist, but it sits well and feels very comfortable. Otherwise no complaints at all and I am very pleased with my purchase, it’s a lot of watch for your money and a great budget buy for a quality made Divers wristwatch. Well done Casio. UPDATE - I have now also purchased the Pepsi bezel version for a bargain £55, and together with the black version these two Duro Marlin watches have become my everyday wear.

Great value for bigger wrists
Nice looking watch and something of an icon in watch collector circles (this features quite a bit on YouTube). It looks more expensive than it is. The strap is OK, not the best but could easily be changed. I had to return it as at 44mm its just a bit to big for my 6.6 inch wrist. Shame Casio don't do a 40mm version, which would be perfect.

As a student, back in 2010-11, I used to work in a high-end jewelry store in Montreal selling watches (at Birks). We sold Tissot (entry level), Longine, Rado, Cartier, Omega, Concord and much more. I've always dreamt of getting a nice diving watch because I liked the look and functionality. 12 years went by. Recently, I wanted to treat myself with a nice diving watch. I was looking around and thought 'why not try the 4,8 stars review diving watch on Amazon before buying an expensive one?'. If you are looking for a nice, accurate, good looking watch around 44mm, THIS IS IT! Qualilty-Price speaking; This is better quality and cheaper than Tissot if you're not looking for a chronograph watch. The band isn't the best out there, but this is easily replaceable. I wasn't expecting much for the price tag, but this one is a Wow!
