Bulk Bag of Premium Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs 0.8m3. The fire Wood is Suitable for Log Burners, Open Fires, stoves, chimineas, fire pits etc

I ordered these for my elderly mother who has an open fire. We previously bought from a local supplier and although the load was ok we found a lot of rotten wood included. This load which I stacked today is excellent quality! Burns slowly and gives of plenty heat. It was delivered very promptly by a lovely driver who even fixed my mums TV!! Will definitely buy again from Tayside Forestry.

Poor quality, damp, spent most of the winter re-lighting the fire, smoked non stop. Don't buy these. They won't be able to sell them from now on anyway as damp wood is now illegal

Great quality logs, 2nd time buying within a few months! Dry and burn very well with loads of heat! Delivery driver very helpful and would definitely be buying again!! As much as I like supporting local businesses to buy wood, this is a no-brainier for quality and price !!

Excellent delivery service - but that’s a local issue, so not really relevant. However, the guy was so good it’s worth a mention.As for the actual product - the logs - I would question whether they are in fact hardwood. As not one single log had any bark on - surprisingly - it’s difficult to tell, but having burnt hardwood logs for over a decade I do have some experience. There’s certainly no oak amongst the bulk bag we received (oak has a distinctive cross section). They burn like softwood; i.e. very fast, with a lower heat output compared to previous logs (oak, birch and beech, but from other suppliers). These logs also feel like softwood, and they’re very light. At the rate of burn we’ve already experienced, even with the stove set to slow burn, I think we’ll be going through these logs much faster than usual.Am unable to recommend.

For the second time out of three orders, the delivery man has turned up with no ability to get the pallet off his van and unfortunately I don't own a fork lift truck!!Otherwise the logs are great!

We burn logs on an open fire and have been buying bags from the garden centre nearby at £5.99. No more! A bulk buy like this is much better value. The logs burn well. Kiln dried is better than the air dried that we bought previously. The delivery was earlier than expected. We were notified on Tuesday that they had been dispatched and were due Saturday. They arrived on Wednesday.

They say there firewood is from local sustainable wood, the driver told me it was imported from Denmark
