Given the 10-zillion variations on a theme when it comes to auto parts, I was prepared to remain calm if the part didn't fit. But it did fit. Perfectly. Thanks for a satisfying experience. No instructions included, but none needed. Remove and save the one small Phillips screw. Pry the old part out with a flat-bladed screwdriver, or something similar. Press the new part into place -- duck soup, it snaps in perfectly and smoothly. Replace the Phillips screw. Don't worry if its not perfectly perpendicular, it's only there to spread the retaining clip. You're golden. It's a bargain!

No issues, it is plastic we will see how it does after I use it a few times.

Does not come with the screw to attach it to the hood. Fits fine and works well but no screw. Which I needed since the last one got lost

As the title says. Perfect replacement. The only issue is, it’s a pain to get the original clip out. The clip side on the left I was able to use a flat head and pliers, but the right side where the screw goes was stuck and I had to break the original plastic piece off to be able to get any grip with my pliers. Basically had to yank the old one out forcefully. But the new one is in and fits perfect.
