I am not a chef (or even remotely a good cook) but I am trying. I was getting annoyed by the knives I had and having to press down hard to try cut through meat. These are perfect, barely any pressure and was straight through. I wasn't paying attention when I dried it after washing, and it cut the tea towel slightly. Very sharp and worth the price.Be nice if they did a set of 5

Pretty good knife! It came very quickly and cuts well. As with any knife, you need to take care of it by never putting it in the dishwasher and frequently sharpen it. It could be a bit more ergonomic as I do have a callus from frequent chopping underneath my forefinger. Gorgeous knife though! Love that it comes with a cover.

Its not always the cutting, but how you do it. Those are beautiful and very well held knifes. They are sharp enough without "extreme" edge ((which i have found is more often than not a "trick" to make the illusion of sharpness, and after a couple of weeks the edge is "dull" (less sharp)). For now they cut raw meat (the reason i got them) exactly as i was hoping and makes it a satisfying procedure. Excellent product.

I received these knives today and I am quite disappointed. I am an avid cook and straight away tried their sharpness with my fingers... They didn't seem very sharp so I tried cutting fruit & veg and my fear and concern only confirmed what I was thinking.My friend who is left handed gave it a go (I'm right handed) and she had a very different experience. I tried as well with my left hand and it was considerably better so I went back to see if the knives weren't meant to be for left handed people - lol!Contemplating returning the item and buying something more proper as this just doesn't cut it - pan intended!

Super sharp knives

The knives arrived earlier than my expected delivery date so very pleased with the seller. They are beautiful knives that have a nice weight to them. They also cut very well. I have only had them for a few days and they easily cut thru potatoes, vegetables, and meats. I will definitely be using them often. They are super sharp so the coverings are useful for storage. I would recommend these knives for anyone looking for a nice set. Worth it!!
