Zatarain'sJambalaya with Cheese, 8 oz (Pack of 12)

We found it very flavorful and quick to prepare. It's even better if you jazz it up with some extra things like sausage, shrimp and a bit more rice. Very hearty and fills you up. We normally keep this in our pantry whenever we need something good and fast to make.

Like many others here, I was really disappointed that grocery stores stopped selling this cheese version of the Jambalaya, but I was so overjoyed when I find it here - and at a reasonable price!! Sometimes, I actually mix the non-cheese with this to get the best of both worlds (if you have folks in your house who complain that the cheese is too rich), and it really is delicious!! Also satisfies the whole family (although the cheese variety alone is my personal preference).

I love it and it is a good lunch and dinner too.

Great value for the price. This was unavailable in my local grocery store as I was planning a dinner for Mardi Gras. This came next day and was plenty to feed a crowd of 50. I’m originally from Louisiana, and this is the best box version that you can find.

Very good, hot meal. I use soup and misc. meat stirred in.

I wish they still sold this at H‑E‑B, because it was my go to. I’m so happy to have found it here. I love this stuff! Wish it came in multipacks.

Love this...I use Andouillle sausage cut up in 1/4 in. slices, frozen okra and a yellow pepper diced and half pound of shrimp and petit chopped canned tomatoes. My friends and I love it!

Zataran Gumbo (not Gimbo Base) - had an old box on the shelf tried it with cooked venison cube steak and boiled shrimp - it was very good. To my own serving added a bit of cayenne and pepper as a personal preference. I’ll be stocking up on this type of long shelf life product going forward.

This used to be in most stores in Canada but now is very hard to find. I was very pleased to be able to purchase it here. Great taste easy to make the last two times buying this i have noticed that it has a lot less salt in it. That is not a bad thing .

We make Gumbo with Chorizos or Seafood here in Australia and it is a hit with all that has tasted it!
