Anderson & Webb Green Jade Silver Dragon Pendant Necklace 45cm & Jade Drop Earrings Set

Okay: here goes.I ordered this jewellery set as a present for my wife - it seemed fitting as she has just taken up Chinese Calligraphy. However, when she unwrapped the present and opened the box, we found that one of the drops had become separated from the rest of the earring, and the silver post at the back of the other was severely bent.I should have investigated more thoroughly on receipt, as this would have prevented both my embarrassment and her disappointment.However, two problems with one order does suggest a real problem with quality control. So "Caveat emptor".(I did contact the seller but was referred back to Amazon. I am not impressed with this response in terms of customer service. Two faults on one item, and no acknowledgement of this or hint of apology?)I have of course asked for a refund, which has been creditted to my account by Amazon.
