No need for regular detergent along with the microfiber wash. You only use the microfiber wash, even with a H.E. washing machine.

Can i use this in the same washer i used for regular clothes that my family wear?

I know of no reason why not. But many manufacturers of microfiber cloths don't recommend machine washing. And I don't know of any (but I've been wrong before) that recommend machine drying them. I myself prefer to do them in a bucket, rinse well and then air dry them.
