Highly recommend. This product has helped me capture that pesky bugs that fly in and around the house so this product helps capture them. No smell. It gives a nice little light when you have it plugged in. I have provided friends and family this product and they love it. The quality is great and can use it a while. It’s affordable but works amazing!

I’ve tried a few different bug traps before, but this one is by far the most convenient. The blue and UV light really does a great job of attracting flies, fruit flies, and gnats—it works 24/7, so I don’t have to think about turning it on or off. Within a day or two, I could already see the adhesive pad catching bugs. One of my favorite features is the mess-free disposal. The sticky pad traps the insects so you never have to touch them, and since the cartridge faces the wall, it’s very discreet. Replacing the cartridge is as simple as pulling it out and tossing it in the trash. It’s also extremely easy to use—just plug it in where bugs are most active, insert the cartridge, and you’re set. I like that it’s versatile enough to place in the kitchen, bathroom, garage, or even near plants indoors. I’ve mainly kept mine in the kitchen, and it’s made a noticeable difference in cutting down on fruit flies. The package comes with one plug-in device and three cartridges, which is a nice starter set. It is amazing how well this works. wish I had purchased this for spring, catches everything. Easy to setup and use. Great value. Will be buying again.

I bought this to catch drain flies. It will not attract drain flies, but the number of other bugs that it kills is amazing. I live in a wooded area, and mosquitoes are always flying in when I open the door. This is so easy to clean and does not stink at all! The mosquitoes cannot resist the bright light that sends them to their doom! The light is high quality and doubles as a great night light. It gives your room a black light effect, which is very cool! This thing even caught a rogue horse fly! What quality! Does not require any sort of chemical and makes no noise! Every home needs a pair of these! I find this to be the best bug solution for my RV! YOUR RV NEEDS THIS NOW!

These catch SO MANY FLIES!! I have three in our kitchen and one in the garage and they're constantly full. I had one that went out at third year (right side)- I've had to buy a replacement but keep using anyway. Will buy more. Refills ARE expensive so we don't purchase name brand, but work great also.

A Pothos plant that I purchased had so many small flies within the soil of it and I use this when it came to getting all of them out of my home. It worked so well and it was so good that I ended up buying two more of the sticky pads to keep this in my home. It was so easy to trash the sticky pads after it was filled, and I love that it has a blue light to attract the small bugs.

The Safe Home traps and refills definitely help to eliminate gnats and flies associated with houseplants and sink drains. They are easy to use, attach a sticky pad to the trap and plug in to an outlet. When it is time to change the sticky pad, you can do so without touching the pad. The blue light serves as a nice nightlight. I have placed them in several rooms throughout my home; they are discreet, odor free and do their job!

I recently found myself with a fruit fly infestation like no other. Desperate for an answer, I sought out all advice available. One suggestion was these Safer traps. I also learned about the commercially available red containers with holes in the top that hold bait and an old folk solution of putting water, sugar, dish soap, and vinegar in a saucer. Well, borne out of despiration, I did all three, yes, the flies were that bad. Here's what I learned... Each of the traps caught a lot of flies and each had some pros and cons. The Safer trap worked quite well. There are two instructions they give that must be followed: change the card at least every 21 days and, since it works best in the dark, it must be the only light source in the room. When I made sure it was truly dark, it worked better. I also put it close to where the flies hung out rather than thinking I could draw them away from problem areas (which didn't work). While the liquids dried up (and I had to clean out containers with dead bugs...uck!) the card was mess free and easy to change. It was sticky enough to easily catch the flies I had. An avid reader of reviews, 1 Star reviews tend to be a reflection of the person, 2 Stars, the product, and the sum of 4 & 5 Stars evidence of the quality of the product. I found Safer to have a high aggregate of 4 & 5 stars. There are replacement cards with higher, so I might try those in the future, but for now, this seems to be a good quality product that does the job in combination with other methods that is well worth the money I spent. I wanted the flies gone in a day, but given their life cycle and more hatching after my initial killing spree, I had to be realistic about what any product was capable of. Overall, I have already recommended this to friends and would to you too.
