The instructions aren't brilliant but once you've sussed how to operate it the blender is very good indeed.The heavy glass jug is top quality. Its weight ensures the blender doesn't go walkabout like many others do.There are enough settings and speeds to do a good job every time.It crushes ice easily and so far has done everything I've asked of it.It comes with a grinder attachment that makes short work of nuts etc. Also has two screw top beakers handy for the fridge or your car.It seems well built and and has a setting for cleaning which works well after use.The moter is powerful and the rubber feet help it stay put.The Duronic is much better than others around the same price.It remains to be seen how long it lasts, but it certainly is built of high quality components so it doesn't get hot or smell like it's going to burn out.At the price (£79.95) it is a good machine.I highly recommend it.

This item arrived quickly and was well packaged. I've only used it a few times so far, but it's managed to blend whole bananas, quartered apples and whole oranges (without the skin) easily and quickly. What I particularly like is that, unlike other blenders/juicers I've come across, this is really easy to clean which means that I'm much more likely to use it on a daily basis. Because the blade attachment fits on top of the bottles (two of which are included with the blender), it's just a matter of removing the bottle from the base, unscrewing the blade lid and then rinsing it under the tap. I tend to pour my smoothie into a glass to drink from as I only carry water with me when I'm out. One of the bottles also has an infuser which I won't use (I don't like flavoured water as water tastes better as it is). I chose this particular make and model because it has a 500 watt motor (most of the cheaper blenders are 300 watt) so this really is a high quality, sturdy blender at a bargain basement price. I'm also impressed by how little room the base takes up on the kitchen counter - I have a very small kitchen and space is at a premium, so this ticks all the boxes for me.Quick update, I've now had this machine for a couple of weeks and cannot recommend it enough - it is awesome. Unlike most of the blenders in this price range, this one has a 500 watt motor, so it easily blends apples, carrots and other harder fruits and veg (though I tend to stick to fruits). It's so easy to clean that I'm using it every day (I've had blenders that are fiddly to clean in the past which made me reluctant to use them and then have to clean afterwards). I usually chuck in a couple of large spoons of frozen berries (and let them thaw a little for half an hour or so), then add half a banana, half an apple and a whole orange (peeled) or a couple of tangerines. I pour in a small amount of bought apple juice, then whizz up the lot and put it in the fridge for half an hour or so to cool down. I find this mix quite thick, so just before drinking it, I add another small shot of apple juice (stirred, not blended) just to make it easier to drink through a straw (a reusable straw, of course). I tend to drink the mix from a glass, rather than the blender bottle as I drink it in the house.This blender is brilliant value for money as it comes with two bottles and an infuser, which means that I can keep the second bottle to use for water.

powerful blender, good device and handling, but extremely noisy.

Unpacked machine and noticed small marks on the blender unit and something didn't feel right about it. I then proceeded to set up as instructed and went to power on the unit to find that there was no power running to the machine. No life whatsoever! I then checked the fuse and my own kitchen sockets to see if it was my outlets at fault which worked fine. I could not understand for the life of me why a brand new product just didn't work, surely they test the products before they stock them ready to ship. Clearly not on this occasion! Amazon support was non existent and messaging the seller would of took days to resolve so I returned promptly for a refund! Don't waste your time with this rubbish go and spend the extra little bit of money on a decent ninja appliance.

This blender is top notch. It blends things especially fruits so smoothly and quickly too. If you are looking for a smoothie or an awesome blender, look no further this is it.Great value for money and easy to clean.I don't mind the noise of the motor.

Fact is i never know what to buy now because you hear so much about FAKE REVIEWS, so guys here's a real one .I've brough a nutri blender a ninja blender and they have alll just warn out etc like they do, and tbh there aren't all that! so I was like right im gonna buy something cheaper and hope for the best so here we are!This blender is bloody fabulous, ide say better than all the well known brands and a fraction of the price no bloody brainer.I've crushed ice, nuts even done soups and it comes out perfect .I can't rage enough about this blender 2 flasks so one is always on the go !Dishwasher safe if needed but honestly I've never had to they just swill clean there not made from hard plastic so doesn't stain like it has done with other blenders I've had (carrot soup staining not a problem now!)And is also been okay with the heat doesnt crack or anything I'm chuffed!

Wasn’t expecting much for the price but there’s a few pretty basic design features you’d expect from a smoothie maker regardless of price.There’s no pitch to the blades so once the first bit is blended the rest just sits on top so you’ve to constantly remove and shake the bottle.The interlock is also woefully bad and the bottle rarely marries up to the motor first time.Finally the motor creates a hell of a lot of ozone so I doubt it’ll last long until the brushes are burned out.Aside from that it blends frozen berries pretty well within a minute albeit with removing the bottle a few times to shake it
