How much saliva do you need to give? I’ve had cancer treatment and don’t have a lot.

Hello - The amount of saliva needed to provide a sample is 2 mL or about 1/2 a teaspoon. If you're not able to produce enough saliva in 30 minutes, you can release the funnel lid buffer fluid into the tube, then continue providing your saliva sample until the combined fluids reach the top of the tube. Once the buffer fluid has been released, you can provide the sample over several hours to a few days if necessary. Hope that helps!
