I think it works how it should. It went off and it said 16ppm so I got my family and pets outside and called the gas company. Alerted the neighbors since we live in townhomes. Gas man confirmed there was a leak. My home had the worst while my neighbors had less. He also said my alarm wasn't good, but it was the only one that worked when none of my neighbor's went off. The neighbors have basic ones installed by our complex. So it works! I've had since December 2024, the incident happened in February 2025. I barely had it and it already saved my family's and pet's lives!

Unit was easy to install however after 10 months we had to call the fire dept. to come do an air quality check to confirm we were not going to die. Unit started beeping giving the code "co Err" with a red and blue light. We changed the batteries and still continued beeping. Fire dept. fortunately confirmed we were at zero Co levels throughout our home and the detector was malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. Fire department asked what the date stamp was on the back to make sure it was in not outdated but there was no date stamp, which it should of had. I guess the only good thing other than easy install was the eye candy walking through my house at 7:30pm while I was in my pajamas 😉

Love these detectors! User friendly as well as compact and attractive. My only problem is I couldn't get the back panel on. I'm a debit citizen lady who needed help. Other than that, I love it and I highly recommend it.
