I really wanted to like this dress, but it's a fail for me.The quality is decent, and it's a lovely green velvet material with a nice drape. I don't like the sleeves - i hoped/expected I would need able to have them up on my shoulders, but that's awkward and they won't stay put. They want to be down"off-the-shoulder", and that doesn't feel secure at all. In retrospect I could've probably gone a size smaller, but I went W/ XL it of habit 🤷

This dress is absolutely beautiful. Feels very comfortable and it stretches a bit. Fabric is soft. I do feel the top is a bit loose, I did go down to a size Medium after seeing other reviews and still feels a bit loose from the shoulders, nothing to extreme. Overall this is a great dress!

This dress was surprisingly decent quality and very pretty overall, but was unflatteringly oversized in the bust - at least for me, and I’m on the larger size of average. Otherwise, it was true to size.

I'm a 30G (freaky genetics) and don't fill out the bust of this dress w/o hiking the girls up to my chin. I ordered a small. I'm 5'2" & 110lbs. The fit generally is pretty big, even the waist is roomy. They should make this dress in a XS. That said, a gold belt & a push up bra and all is good. I look forward to wearing it out.

Either I have no idea what size I am, I cannot do math or I don't know my measurements, but I failed miserably in choosing a size for this dress. In following the attached sizing chart, I ordered one size larger than I usually wear and got a size large. I suspect both me and my daughter would fit in this dress at the same time, particularly in the bust area. I suppose a way to alter it so it fits better through the bust and shoulder area would be to wear it off-the-shoulder, but that is not quite practical for a velvet winter dress or a dress I wear to the office.That being said, I love an A-line dress because they are so forgiving through the lower stomach and hips and this dress is no different. With the cut of the dress, it skims nicely across those areas. I am in love with the color, a medium shade of blue that you don't see often--especially since it's the perfect shade to make use of my Eras Tour boots once again!This is truly a lovely dress for the office, for date night or for a holiday party; just be sure to check the size guide and perhaps consider ordering your true size, or even a size down--which is always good for the self-esteem, too!

I ordered this for a holiday party next month and I love it. It fits great, and the fabric is a very pretty color. It's stretchy, so it's not too stiff anywhere and the velvet fabric is super soft. I like the smooth inner lining of the dress as well, since it cuts down on the warmth of wearing the dress.

I bought the teal color in this velvet dress. To me it looks just like the color in the pic, which I describe asa gorgeous royal blue. I am 5’2,” wear size 14 or XL dress, weigh 163, and am a natural 36g. Amazon suggested that XL would be best for me. I ordered XL. Throw that out of the window. This dress runs REALLY big.The bust material is loose and gaping down. I honestly could barely believe my eyes. That hasn’t happened to me in 40 years, lol. The sleeves are baggy and a little too long. Shoulders are falling down. Armpit is hanging way down. The skirt seemed a little too wide and too long. No pic. Trust me, you don’t want to see. However, the dress is soft, well made, and really beautiful.Despite the dress running so large, I am giving 4 stars. If I ordered this again, I would go 2 sizes down. I would not recommend this dress for less than a very ample bosomed person. This dress would be stunning in the right size.
