I bought this magnifying glass for my 2 1/2 year old grandson, who loves exploring the natural world. It was exactly what I wanted - large enough to handle easily, safe to use and robust. The added illumination was the icing on the cake. Formerly a elementary school school teacher, I would have been very happy to use these in my classroom.

Love this!! I use it for crafting and seeing the dates on coupons. I ordered 3 more so I will always have one when I need it.

The sturdiness and simplicity of the design, the batteries in the handle and bright light shining on the object of your interest, is a genial feature when you are chasing moths or spiders ... or whatever else toddlers like to investigate ... in your night backyard. We love it

Ordered three. One did not work and one came without a cover for the battery! Very dissatisfied!

Very nice, good light, my 3-year old niece has already enjoyed looking at lizards, snakes, spiders and our faces (ugh!).
