The author has a real talent of putting into words all of those initial feelings, worries and highlights of motherhood. Received as a baby shower gift and have since bought more copies for friends. Beautiful book.

I picked this up after hearing Jessica Urlichs' poem 'Dear Husband' on social media and bawling my eyes out, just like the person who was reading it in the clip. The rest of this collection is just as good; it's all the words you'll see repeated all over this page - raw, honest, unflinching, relatable, validating, therapeutic, magical, and beautiful. If you're a mother, you'll feel seen and a lot less alone. If you're not a mother but want to know what it's like, this is what it's like.

Beautiful book of poems about the chaos of motherhood. I bought this for a friend after having her second baby and she absolutely loved it!

Jess has smashed it out of the park again with this collection. She has such a beautiful way of writing that brings out every emotion, plus the emotions you didn't know you had. The collection is suitable for parents to be, to new parents, and those with older kids. I've been enjoying Jess's work for a few years now, and this new book certainly hasn't disappointed. It's just beautiful, and she has a wonderful way of turning what can be a fairly turbulent, unknown period of your life into the appreciation of the 'Beautiful Chaos' around you.

The one book every mother should read!

I just bought this book for myself because I read one of the poems somewhere and it really spoke to me. I wish I had bought it before/when i first had my little boy. The words speak perfectly to many of my experiences, and serve as a reminder sometimes of how hard, but fleeting, moments with a newborn can be. They’ve given me perspective when I needed it most. This would make a wonderful gift for an expectant or new mum. It’s beautifully presented and something that can be picked up and put down with ease.

Bought this book for my daughter as she is a new mum, she absolutely loves it. Just beautiful.

I came across one of her poems shared on Facebook and I cried so hard I had to buy her book. If you want to cry happy tears everyday, get this book and read a poem everyday. This book makes my heart explode with gratitude and love for my baby. Also got me through some hard times early post partum. I tell all my pregnant friends to get this book. 11/10.

Alcune poesie sono davvero bellissime, l'ho letto durante il periodo del post parto e ho trovato conforto nel leggere quelle parole, che ben descrivono certi sentimenti, del tutto nuovi! Peccato che non ci sia un'edizione in lingua Italiana...Perché davvero meriterebbe la traduzione! Consigliato secondo la mia opinione per chi ha un livello medio di inglese! Non è troppo complicato, ma in certi casi occorre il dizionario, l'unica seccatura.
