Spacesuits: Within the Collections of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum

Beautifully illustrated, written and bound. A must have book for the confirmed space geek. It's a fairly short read that will leave you wanting a lot more, but it provides a window into these wonders of fabric engineering.The quality of paper used, the way the book is presented and the photography are all second to none.

I'm a fashion design student and ordered this book for spacesuit reference and it really exceeded my expectation. Pictures are great quality, wide variety of suits and great level of information and detailed close up photographs. 10 out of 10.

This is a small book, think A4 but narrower, but makes up for it in quality.The illustrations of the suits and their component parts are excellent and photographedon a black background that really highlights the context (space).Some suit parts have been x-rayed to reveal internal detail and there's good contextualprose and historical images too.

Gift - recipient still talks of how much they loved this. quality is fabulous.
