These texts cover levels from A1 to C1. So far, I have been able to cover the material in the A1 level without help from a teacher. Yes, I would recommend these books, complemented by the Pimsleur course and others (like the above mentioned TDoLT). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very useful, great price *by on Reviewed in the United States June 4, 2021* Turkish isn't a very common language to learn in the U.S., and Turkish teachers are hard to find in many places. Thus, many previous reviewers hoped to teach themselves Turkish with these books. Some criticized this set because it's not useful for self study, due to the lack of English translation. However, these books are actually are very useful--and NEEDED--if you have a teacher, as I do. If you can't find a Turkish-language teacher, there's an app called "Preply" that connects you to affordable, rated foreign-language teachers whom you meet with virtually, online. My Preply-based teacher has great reviews, and she's wonderful! I'm making progress! But without these books or similar, she'd have to create her own teaching materials. So please don't give these books bad reviews just because you can't teach yourself Turkish with them-- that isn't their intended purpose! They're very helpful and needed when used in a class-- whether for private or group instruction. The price is also excellent on Amazon.
