The size & weight of the pieces are perfect! The mat is a little flimsy & was very wrinkled when it arrived. I warmed it in dryer & is now wrinkle free & looks great. It was a great value especially for the price.

I bought the 20" rubber chess set: this is a great tournament style set at a unbelievable price! The rubber board, the weighted chess pieces and the size of the set is fantastic.... it even comes with an extra queen per color plus the storage bag.Measurements (approximated) of the set I received: board is 19.5" including the edges, each playing square is 2.25", king is 4", queen is 3.1", bishop is 2.5", knight is 2.25", rook is 1.87" and pawn is 1.6".... again, weighed pieces that gives a great feeling when playing.Happy with my purchase and for the asking price ($7.99), getting this set is a no brainer!

I really wasn't expecting a tournament ready chess set. The pieces are identical. Nicely weighted. Very high quality. But vinyl board is just so so. Not as good as a tournament one but very close and for seven bucks you can't beat this. I bought several more. (Really helps to leave it out in the sun on a hot day so it will smooth out)Also the case it comes in is a very nice touch and can also fit a clock inside as well

The media could not be loaded. I'm just a casual player that just started getting into chess tournaments. I was looking for one of those silicone chess boards where even if you move the pieces without lifting them, it'll move smoothly. This is not one of those.If you try to move the piece while keeping it on the mat, the mat will likely drag with the piece, knocking the other pieces over due to the mat folding.The pieces are great though, but just not for me.
