Safety 1st Extra Key For Adhesive Magnetic Lock System, 1 Key

I've ordered 2 sets. They're great but inconsistent from lock to lock. A couple have had problems with the latch staying in the lock position. Aside from that, they're pretty strong. My 25 lb toddler likes to pull at the cupboards, none have come off (yet) with just the adhesive - though I plan to screw a few in.

Should pack one magnet for each lock because I use them individually

The product works great. But some of the locks were used already and so the adhesive was messed up or completely gone on some of them.

I bought these locks because my cats like to open the cabinets and take out the contents! I’ve used similar locks that have a small template and these ones are by far the easiest and fastest to install. I’d purchase these again!

I wish this had been around when my kids were small. We actually got these to keep our curious puppy from being able to get into a cabinet under the sink. I ended up watching a video on YouTube to learn to install and it was super simple. I highly recommend these cabinet locks. What a great concept. Would be perfect for those with toddlers or puppies!

We have some of the large Ikeia cabinets that fit 8 of those Costco bins in them perfectly. I have 2 sets that hold all of my crafting stuff and 2 sets that hold all of my children's toy bins. Since I now have boys, there are constantly toys everywhere! it was overwhelming how many bins and toys were everywhere. They also loved to pull out mommy's craft bins and take all of my beads and threads out. Dumping every bin out. All. The. Time. I was to the point where I was designating a whole day, every other day, to just re-organizing everything and putting them in their proper bin. It was exhausting and overwhelming. Many times I considered going toy free and trashing all my crafts. The way the cupboards were other latches weren't working and my husband wanted something that couldn't be seen- since the toy bins were also in the tv room.Oh happy day when I found these locks!!!Instillation was a snap and the locks don't get in the way of the bins at all. We have tried other locks but all others have failed. I am thrilled that I can control the amount of toys the kids have access to. Each week I let one of the 4 cupboard drawers unlocked, giving the kids access to 4 bins at a time. At least the mess is controlled now, and if it gets out of control, I am unable to take just 1 bin out and lock up the rest. They also can no longer get into my craft drawers *heavenly music*These have really saved my sanity! I have since told absolutely everyone about them.They are super easy to install, handle abuse, stick right and are very easy to operate. I love the function that allows it to remain in a "lock" or "unlock" position, so if the cupboard gets closed, it will remain unlocked. The "key" is magnetic so we just keep one at the tippy top of the refrigerator, out of sight, and the other is hidden for emergencies. My boys have figured out how to use every type of child and door lock within 2 weeks, but we are going on a few months and they still haven't worked these ones out {victory dance}Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

My friend used these for years, so when I had a baby I knew exactly what child locks I was purchasing for my own home. These install easily with the included alignment tabs - no worries about getting them on straight. I like the security of being able to screw then in place too. Bonus: you don’t have big clunky locks on the outside of your cupboards!

Reading non stops reviews for this type of item like many other things became too much. After looking at a ton of highly reviewed magnetic locks I finally decided on paying more money for the Safety 1st ones. Now I'll never know if the less expensive ones were just as good or not but I have no regrets to far. The product looks and feels quality, magnet is really strong, and more importantly the install was a breeze and there's zero chance that you will screw up and not have it lined up. The only person who hates it so far is my baby, she's confused and frustrated why she can't open the cabinets anymore. I'm a horrible dad finding pure enjoyment watching her suffer!

Amazing product. So glad I had asked the amazon community about them. We have painted cabinets and I was worried bout using the plastic magnet key on them. Added a felt floor protector used on bottom of chair legs as suggested by one reviewer thank you. Work great. Only suggestion for others is to put the top plastic part a little further back on the cabinet so there is not give so cabinets stay flush so that little ones dont get their fingers stuck.

So I wanted to love these, but I would never buy them again. The box we got was missing a piece, making one of the locks useless. We bought them for our kitchen drawers, thinking they wouldn’t create a gap, like the older style push down locks do. Unfortunately they create a gap that adult fingers can fit into and little fingers can easily get jammed. Also, the little latch sometimes doesn’t pop back up like it is supposed to and makes the lock useless. Overall they are super annoying because you always have to grab the magnet to unlock them and depending on your users, the magnet may not always be returned to a handy location.

These are by far the easiest kid locks to install. They have a great guide system that makes lining everything up incredibly easy. Removing them is fairly easy as well. I was surprised how easy they came off by following their instructions (pull a fishing line through the stick adhesive).Unfortunately, the locks are very large and will not fit a cupboard drawer that has a face plate attached. Most of the drawers in my house are 3/4" plywood with a face plate and not of the locks fit these drawers so be mindful of where you intend to place these.

I have 3 kids, the first 2 were normal but this 3rd one is a ninja and freakishly strong. We have these locks everywhere and he hasn't broken one yet in a year while he's broken several other kinds. I love that you can't see them, they don't wreck the finish on the cupboards, and are super easy to use. I thought it would be annoying to need the magnet all the time, but after several months he's stopped trying to get into the cupboards that are always locked and doesn't bodice if someone forgets to lock it. I recommend getting extra keys though!
