This a very well organized book with easy to follow instructions on how to do each exercise along with what part of the body you will be helping. Pictures and video are amazingly helpful. Myself, my daughter and friend are loving this.

Somatic exercises
I found this book really interesting. The connection between mind and body is well known. The exercises in this book are helpful in understanding that connection and guiding you through to a healthy state both physically and emotionally. The exercises are easy to do and I liked the pictures.

Disappointed
I should’ve read more reviews before purchasing, then I would’ve known better. So for starters I spent the extra money to get the hard cover, but what the description fails to mention is that the book is printed in black and white, no color whatsoever. Also the quality of the paper is like it was printed on printer paper. I thought ok that sucks, but maybe the videos will be better. Except I find out that there is no dvd attached like I was hoping. I was looking in the box front and back cover thinking I must’ve missed something or dvd was not sent only to read in the beginning that its a link?! Seriously?! For $25 it better come with a dvd!Save your money and just watch youtube videos or pinterest.

Great Book Very Relatable.
This book is relatable. Just from reading the introduction, I know it's going to be so helpful in getting me to exercise. We already know that tension and stress build up in the body. This is why (probably not the only reason why) massages and other places of relaxation are so sought after. These are exercises that can relieve the tension and stress from your body and I look forward to trying them out. All it can do is help. I highly recommend it!

Somatic Exercises for Beginners
I was looking for an exercise guide to help relieve stress and tension. My friend recommended this book for me. I appreciate how it provides explanations of what the exercises will help with as well as who should avoid certain exercises and why. The pictures are so helpful that way I know that I am doing the exercises the right way
