This worked great, plenty of nasty stuff came out of my sink overflow. No clue if it actually helps with anything but maybe a good solution to drain flies.

We use bar soaps which tend to cause soap scum to build up in the pipes and requires regular cleaning. Recently we discovered that we had a major backup in our upstairs drains, so I ordered the two pack to clear the drains. First, we used a disposable snake to remove the physical obstructions, then we blasted the drains with this foaming cleaner. In our sinks it was impossible to get a clean seal so I had to use more cleaner than you might if your drain is positioned in such a way as to allow a tight seal, so one bottle did the two sinks. I ran hot water through when the cleaner had sat for about 30 minutes and the drains ran perfectly. The tub posed a challenge because I had to remove the plug with a screwdriver to get a tight seal, but that did allow a tight seal and a huge amount of buildup was cleared out. I cleaned that drain twice because of the amount of buildup that cleared out. It used the second bottle entirely but for the amount of drain buildup that needed to be cleared out it was worth it. The tub drain now works perfectly and I was able to clean it really nicely for the first time in weeks. I would HIGHLY recommend this cleaner.

It is impossible to fit over the drain; because, the water spout is in the way.

It totally pushes out all that nasty gunk caught in your overflow trap! It's disgusting! Too bad it's really just overpriced expanding foam... almost like shaving cream...

I used these in 2 identical bathroom sinks, one worked and one just went straight down the drain. I'm not sure if it was something I did or what. The one that worked actually got some stuff out and it smelt pretty good. I wouldn't buy again but I wanted to try it after seeing all over different sites.

It work just as described and am definitely getting again when cleaning sinks with overflow drain. Clean as whistle and does smell great.

It does a great job on its own with cleaning out your sink and/or bathtub/shower drain, but this is not a one & done solution. You will still want to use other tools such as a hair clog removal tool before using this foam if you want the best results.

The media could not be loaded.  The pictures are proof. We found the source of the bathroom stink. It was in this overflow drain. Definitely recommend!
