Q: is this like carnation malted milk original flavor? They only have that and chocolate at my store, and I don't want chocolate.

I have never had Carnation Malted Milk. Personally I prefer the chocolate. I would suggest you buy a jar art your local store and try it. If you don't like it you can always return it.

Q: Does ovaltine have caffiene in it?

The label on Ovaltine Classic Malt says "Caffeine free" and the Ovaltine Chocolate Malt says "99.9% caffeine free."

Q: is this the old old kind -crunchy bits that float on the milk or powder that blends easily with milk?

This Ovaltine blends easily with milk, tho usually we just warm the milk a little.

Q: How much protein in each serving?
