Runner Pepper Gel Spray for Running, Walking & Personal Safety

I mean, I hope I never really need to use the spray. and I don't really know if it has an expiration date, but the holder and light alone are amazing. I use it on all my dusk, dawn and night runs as well as anywhere I might be a lone runner or near spicy wildlife areas. Luckily, none of the wildlife, or human life, I've run around have needed a warning shot, but this spray is so lightweight and easy to carry, and comfortable to hold in your hand. I appreciate the added layer of confidence it brings. I highly recommend this for anyone who goes out on their own to run, or even someone who'd like an extra light, with a bit more security, when getting into their car in a dark parking lot or garage. The color has slightly faded in the sun, but this does not affect the way it works.

Bought for my daughter who runs in a larger downtown area. She loves the addes security, even though she tries to not run in areas where it really might be needed. No issues with accidental discharge, and hand strap works well for her in active setting.

Great product! As a runner, I really appreciate a hand/wrist strap for pepper spray to keep it easily accessible while keeping my hands free. My last one was also from Sabre, and when I damaged the cute pink strap, they were awesome and replaced it for free even though it was totally my fault. So when I lost it, I was thrilled to see Sabre makes this one with a light. Even though I wear a head light, extra visibility is always a bonus, especially if you’re trying to find or use a lifesaving device in the dark when every second counts! Plus this one says it sprays up to 13 seconds and up to 12 feet, both more than most others this size. I gave it a quick test spray when I got it as they recommended, and I was surprised to see it actually went a full 12 feet! This is much farther than my other ones this size did. It’s a solid stream gel, so the wood won’t blow it around as easily. The light is actually both brighter and lighter than I expected it to be. And the strap is a little longer than my pink one was, so it actually fits around my wrist even with my winter running jacket on, although I probably won’t be able to layer underneath it which is fine because I can put it around my fingers like I used to. It’s good, heavy duty Velcro. I couldn’t get the product manual code to work, and the search bar on their website doesn’t pull up this model number, but I found it by scrolling under the manuals. I was pleasantly surprised to see they offer a free replacement guarantee if the product fails anytime before the expiration date. The expiration date on mine is in 3 1/2 years. There’s also a one year warranty on the wrist strap. The only thing they could do better would be to reverse the direction of the Velcro covering the battery because you can accidentally pull it off when you’re trying to take the wrist strap off. But I like everything else about it so much that I’ve already ordered replacement pepper gel just in case I would need it, and I ordered a few extra for friends.

The dispenser sprays very far and the light is very bright. Works well for my walks, helping me feel a little more secure. The placement of the spray with the wrist strap makes it very easy to use. Happy with purchase overall.

I love this pepper spray! As a man, I never expected to be jumped running. That experience made me carry a self-defense tool at night. Though I haven’t used it, I’m confident in its effectiveness. The gel formula makes me feel secure. The product feels high-quality, and the neon color alerts people to its presence. However, the flashing light didn’t work on mine. Despite this, I highly recommend it. I wouldn’t want to be without it. Top quality and build.

My family is more at ease with me taking evening walks only! The velco is strong and holds securely. The battery operated band is an added plus! I waited for Prime day and was able to purchase this for $8. I would buy this again! Worth double that to me. The spray can is removable.

The runner pepper gel with strap and light The strap with the light allows others to see me if I’m running at night. Also I like that it’s a pepper gel rather than a spray. The gel is more accurate and limits the probability that I will walk into the spray area

The LED light on wrist band does not work. I didn’t try the spray gel as I haven’t had a need to at this time.
