Trusting my instincts, I decided to purchase this product on Amazon India for β‚Ή8,074 on December 1, 2024. I also received a 15% discount for Black Friday on this purchase. The product arrived on December 3, 2024, with the usual excellent packaging and delivery service from Amazon.The aesthetics of the product are impressive, and it appears to be made from durable materials, featuring an aluminum body with a rubber flip cap. It is an imported item, and I noticed additional labels on the back with details about the manufacturer and importer; this product is made in Taiwan.On my Windows system, the total available memory is 931GB, with a conversion loss of 69 GB. I found a couple of preloaded files on the pen drive that redirect you to the product warranty page. The warranty registration process was straightforward.I formatted the drive to NTFS, and both the USB Type-A and Type-C ports are functioning as expected. While it's still too early for a detailed performance review, I have noticed some variations in transfer speeds when moving large files. I will provide a more comprehensive performance review after extensive use over time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent *by C***Y on 3 January 2024* For a flash drive, this is pretty quick. Basically a heavily miniaturised SSD, it can almost reach its theoretical read speed. I haven't been able to hit the advertised write speed though. Still, it's very impressive when sustained writes stay at 500MB/b for about 100GB of data at a time. Not sure what kind of SLC caching is being used here.Being winter, it's difficult to get any idea of thermals, but the signs are encouraging. It hasn't gotten hot at all, and I use it as a portable game drive along with some archival duty (non-crit, as all flash should be). Have not been disappointed yet.It's a bit more expensive than a 1TB SSD + enclosure, but it's absurdly small compared to that sort of solution. Given that there is little to no difference in speed, it's a no-brainer to get this. Of course, reliability is still a question mark, but we'll see. Hopefully this has decent endurance, because Silicon Power's product pages are basically non-existent. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super fast 1 TB storage *by R***N on 25 December 2023* Very convenient to have all the vital data handy at super fast read and write speeds. Does not get hot at all even when transferring over 200 GB data at a time. Bought for 8K and within two days the price went down to 6K, so felt a bit cheated.Best buy if you want a reliable and fast storage device.
