Invaluable nose defense
This is an item that I’ll continue to buy again and again. I’ve researched laundry detergents and only buy those purported to offer the deepest clean and thought I was doing an excellent job. I pretreat a shirt just a shirt with a stain that appeared clean and the dirt that came out was revolting. Mind you aside from the stain it looked and felt CLEAN. Seeing this I took my son’s pants ( he’s 2) directly from his drawer and pretreated those, and yuck. Mind you it’s not dye because they light colors it was just nasty. Now I use it in every load and there is a noticeable difference. They are out any smell and everything truly feels clean in a way I can’t describe. It dissolves easily and hasn’t ruined any clothing, hasn’t irritated anyone from my family’s skin, I use one scoop per load so it lasts a fairly long time and it completely destroys even the strongest teenage funk.

Really Truly Does Eliminate Smells
5 Stars and more!! This product lives up to all its claims in the description. It really does work! I have 100% nylon under clothing I wear every day. They started smelling like sweaty socks: that old corn chips smell. I used baking soda, clorox, vinegar, and combinations of these. Nothing worked to rid the smell. One soaking with 2 scoops of Booster and my under clothes are brand new fresh!! Really. In fact, I should not have used 2 scoops for a 5 gallon bucket full of clothing. Booster is so effective I should have only use 1 or 1-1/2 scoops. Now, I can put 1/2 scoop in the washing machine and I'll have fresh clothing every time. Plus, this whitens and brightens clothing, too. Just a terrific product! Absolutely excellent product!!

Very good enzyme cleaner for soiled linens and delicates
I have tried several different enzyme cleaners, but this one is emerging as my favorite for a few reasons. First, it seems to clean well and unlike others, it doesn't leave a distinctive smell on clothes afterward. It is easy to use. Clothes come out fresh, without any perfumed or weird smells other enzyme boosters impart upon the clothes. I haven't had any allergy nor skin irritation issues with this powder, as I'm sensitive to a lot of laundry powders. The powder seems to be very effective when I use it to clean reusable period underwear or soiled dog linens. Both come out very fresh and clean. One thing I don't like about this product is the packaging isn't very environmentally friendly and it is hard to reseal. Every time I think I have the bag zipped closed it gapes open again and ultimately I'm going to have to transfer this to a more secure mason jar or something or I will spill it all over my laundry room. Another thing to consider is that if you don't toss the powder in first before the clothes, I have found that powder accumulates on top of my washer gasket. So, just throw the powder down into the drum then toss the clothes on top and start the load, and it seems work well this way. I use a scoop or two per load and it seems enough and the powder will get you a bunch of loads before you run out. I do wish this powder were a little less expensive, but so far it's the most effective one I've found at this price point and I will purchase again.

Less expensive than comparable brands and works just as well.
This works well to help eliminate bad odors from perspiration in my husband's clothes, athletic wear and bed linens. I also use it to soak our puppies grass mats he's trained to pee on. It really helps eliminate odors.

This stuff works!
I’m the laundry queen in the family and people often ask me how to get all kinds of stains out of their clothes. I had been using another enzyme cleaner and when it was out of stock, I ordered this. This has worked so well on all kinds of body odor and other sorts of daily life stains. But the real test came from our cat. The cat got locked in a spare bedroom overnight. He’s a good boy, but he couldn’t help it and he peed quite a lot on the bed and pooped on another corner of the bed. The pee soaked all the way down to the protective mattress cover so I was washing everything on that bed. We all know cat pee is just the worst. This stuff got that smell out. I am a confirmed user of this product now.

Great value, great results, cleaner laundry without autism effort!
I’ve had friends who use enzymatic cleaners for various applications, I thought I’d try this product for laundry. It truly boosts the cleaning and quality of my clothes! My husband works commercial construction, lots of ground in dirt of all types, very effective overall. Had a cut with bleeding, all removed from the clothing it got into. Great product and results! Also works well on shirt stains from deodorant and around collars of dress shirts too, without additional effort! Takes 1 small scoop per load, cost effective as well!

Eliminates Odors Completely!
This laundry booster is a miracle for tough odors in activewear and towels. The enzyme formula attacks the source of the smell, leaving clothes genuinely fresh and clean. It’s effective and easy to add to any wash cycle. Highly recommended for busy, active households!

This is a fantastic product for reviving old clothing and bed linens that seem impossible to clean thoroughly otherwise. I have used it to remove apparently ingrained grease, oil, urine and many other stains. It is a great solution for clothing that has become rancid-smelling. I make a solution of 2 scoops of the powder in a basin of 3-4 gallons of hot tap water and soak the stubborn items overnight. I then let the items drain, and launder as normal. This is not consistent with the product instructions, which indicates a much shorter soak. However, I have used this on a variety of natural and synthetic materials, and so far have experienced no damage. Since the items were likely to be discarded because they couldn’t be cleaned properly, it seemed worth the risk to reclaim items that were in otherwise good condition. The product may seem a bit pricey, but I have used less than half a package and rescued hundreds of dollars worth of clothing, bedding and even some oven mitts. If you try it, you will be astonished at the amount of grease and soil that ends up in the soaking solution, and how many items seem like new again. There are a few stains it will not remove, but the items rescued are still usable as work clothes. Bedding with unremovable stains can still be used comfortably and safely. "You can’t tell the difference after dark."

Work exactly as it said! Even got the smell out of leather-fabric mixed cushions! Impressed! Also seemed to have a hand written note. Quality product and good to have around, especially if you have cats. 10/10

A lot of times reviews are kind of anecdotal and you can't really be sure, like the effectiveness of a clip on dragon fly for your hat to keep away mosquitos or an ultrasonic sound emitter for critters in your attic. This, however, is a fact. Consider my experience to be the closest thing to lab proven. We are on a well, and have been in the same house for many years. When we moved from city water to well, we noticed a difference in cloths washing quality but didn't think much of it. Over the years we noticed our towels were good for a couple of dryings and then they got musty but didn't think much of that either. Then this last year I got a contract working for a Pharma company and spent day after day and week after week installing equipment in clean rooms all gowned up and getting sweaty. I would return to the desk I was given in the afternoon and felt bad and self conscious about the smell coming off me. I spent a couple of weeks showering twice daily, thinking it was me, but it was my cloths! I bought this product and did the soak they recommend for initial treatment, then washed my clothes regularly with a cap full of this stuff and the smell immediately went away. Even under the same conditions of still sweating daily, there is no odor. What I do now is two caps per washing load for maintenance. Our towels don't smell after one or two dryings, either. This is a must for us now, and I will keep buying this Enzyme Laundry Booster Odor Remover.

Bought my first bag a few weeks ago and have used about 6-8 times, primarily as a soak before washing. Suggested practicalities: don't do what I did and put 2 scoops in the bath tub with bedroom linens and expect miracles. I quickly realized I needed to put more powder in or switch to small tubs and so I picked small tubs and kept the concentration at 2 scoops. Also, expect the solution to become tinted the color of the fabric being soaked. It's not likely your orange towel will create grey water in the tub. The person that posted a pic (in the reviews) of very dark water after soaking probably soaked a black item. It does seem to work quite well on odors, such as sweat on garments. On my last experiment, I put in a t-shirt with 2-day old red salsa stains into the hot water soak as recommended, and they didn't come all the way out. Now I'm wondering if regular stain remover will work after it's been soaked in hot water... I haven't been able to determine if using as a laundry booster has any benefit. My machine is HE and I wonder if maybe I should dissolve the powder in a jug and then add to the bottom of the machine before putting in my laundry items. Yup, guess I still need to continue experimenting, and can see myself ordering another bag after this one. Just don't expect miracles. One more tip after another experiment: *DO NOT* soak your items in a stainless steel sink basin - it will leave a ring on the finish that I have yet to remove despite a few attempts.

I had given up on anything working. I tried specialized pet formulas from the pet stores, vinegar, baking soda and any other concoction you can find on the internet. This was my haul Mary because I have an elderly male dog and a toddler going through potty training - I was drowning in urine! This, unlike anything else did not mask the smell. It literally didn’t smell like anything except fresh laundry which was mind blowing!!! Highly recommend this product and they’re also a family penciled company and I love that. I will tell all my mama friends
