DONT BUY UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY A LOT OF MONEY TO MAKE AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR THEIR COMPANY INSTEAD OF A PIECE OF ART. The product is sent to you with a cardboard overlay, which denotes the numbering for each nail so that you can make your art. After you’re done, when you remove that overlay and are so excited to see the finished product, you’re horrified to discover that the frame has their massive logo in the corner…. It’s like sewing a shirt and then being forced to put a giant Nike logo on the front. I was embarrassed and appalled. I made this piece for friends who were getting married. I finished it the morning of the wedding and tried to over the logo with spackling and paint over it… despite my best efforts, you could still see the distracting logo shining through. I was so upset about this. I’d definitely do a sting art piece again, but NOT from this company. Pick another one that doesn’t force their logo onto your art.

Bought this kit on a whim and ended up making a string art of my mom and sister. Took a few evenings, but the process was pretty chill and satisfying. Gave it to my mom for her birthday — she got emotional and immediately hung it up in the living room. The quality is great, and the finished piece actually looks like real art. Didn’t expect to enjoy crafting, but here I am ordering another one.

The app works well enough and will recreate an imagine, but for $180 I was extremely disappointed to see tacky branding deeply carved into the front of the canvas. Which I only discovered after pouring over 30 hours of work into recreating an image of my girlfriend (as it is hidden underneath the guide card).I’m really upset that none of the product images showed this… and I feel a little betrayed (as a result), as I know that it’s very likely going to bother my girlfriend (as much as, if not more than it bothers me). I’m sure she will still appreciate the gesture, but I highly doubt she will want to actually display it anywhere.I’m giving this product two stars, because it’s not an outright scam… at least you will receive a string art kit. Just be ready for it to read “ITArti” in deep, bold engraving.

I plan to make the string art as a Christmas gift for my partner. The general kit supplies and package seemed nice, simple and not environmentally wasteful. I appreciate the eco thoughtfulness. Initially, I wasn’t able to start my project due to an issue with the app and my personal code. However, after a couple messages to IT Arti, I was given a new code that works. I’m very excited to get started on this project. The audio instructions seem easy and almost meditative.
