Hugger MuggerZabuton Meditation Pillow and Harness (Olive)

I have several zabutons. IMHO, this one from Hugger Mugger is superior to the others I purchased (which were cheaper). I got my first Hugger Mugger zabuton 4 years ago. I have used it with meditation pillow on top, folded in in half as a prop too many times to count, used it as a pad for shoulderstand as well as other non-yoga purposes. It is still in very good condition! The loft is good and it is as supportive today as it was 4 years ago. I finally gave away my other (cheaper) zabutons and got another Hugger Mugger. It was worth the extra money. It doesn't hurt that it has a lifetime warranty! BTW, on two occasions, I was able to go to the Hugger Mugger warehouse. I was able to see many of their products. They are all excellent!

These zabutons are well made and function nicely for meditation practice. They are thick enough to be comfortable, even on non-carpeted flooring. And they are big enough to accommodate people with longer legs. I am 5'11 with long legs and can easily fit on these.The one major downside of these cushions is that the material is very statically charged. I constantly have to remove my cat's hairs and other dirt from the zabuton, even though I'm keeping my living room pretty clean. I do also have zabutons from Dharma Crafts, and while they are way more expensive (almost double the price!) than the Hugger Mugger ones, their material isn't static at all, which is definitely an advantage if you have pets. Wish Hugger Mugger would make these from a different material! If you don't have any pets, these cushions will likely work well for you.

As a beginning meditator I simply cannot believe how comfortable this Zabuton is. It provides the perfect, firm support for my knees and ankles and accommodates multiple sitting positions (I'm 5' 3"). I love the cinchable carry strap. I can tell the fabric is super high quality...I have a meditation cushion in another (popular) brand and the fabrics are markedly different; the Hugger Mugger fabric is much higher quality with a beautiful hand, and it doesn't collect dust or pet hair. The plum color is absolutely gorgeous. I love that it's made in the USA. I highly recommend Hugger Mugger over other popular and more expensive Zabutons.

I looked at all the zabutons on Amazon, read the reviews, and finally chose this one. It cost a little bit more but I have purchased other Hugger Mugger products and have been happy with them. I received this item quickly and it was everything I expected. There's an added bonus, I use the strap for my yoga mat. I setup the zabuton in a corner next to a window in my bedroom and it looks great. I bought the plum color and love it. I purchased a black one for my daughter and she loves hers. All in all, I recommend this product to anyone wanting an attractive and functional zabuton.

I like this thing. I've only sat on it once. If it really sucks I'll come back hear and blast it. It's thick enough, and even enough for me. If you've got long legs I think it would be too small however. I'm 5'9 and my length for jeans is 30, it's perfect for me. For all you leggier peeps out there, this might now be the one, quality of the material notwithstanding.

Very nicely made, sturdy but comfy. A good companion piece for my purple Hugger Mugger zafu. Would've given 5 stars except it is pricey for what is a simple cotton-stuffed cushion--plus dry cleaning rather than washing is strongly recommended for the cover. But, now that I have it, I find myself going to my "spot" to meditate much more frequently so that's all to the good.

This zabuton has been quite helpful in use with my Hugger Mugger rectangular meditation pillow/zafu. The best part? I am able to sit longer, in comfort, with less ankle and leg numbness. There is less shifting around to sit, too. I have bony ankles and feet and this cushion has made sitting in meditation so much better. I like the carrying straps, although I haven't had to take my zabuton anywhere else. It's nice to know I have it, just in case. Sturdy and worth the price. Glad I bought this as a companion to the rectangular zafu.

If you are thinking of buying this zabuton for meditation I would highly recommend it. It's comfortable enough that it takes tension off your feet and knees but its sturdy enough so you can keep your meditation posture. The material is great because it doesn't collect dust. I Just love this thing, I use it 2 sometimes 3 times a day. If you are thinking of meditating for more than 30-45 minutes a day you absolutely must have a zabuton; and I would highly recommend their zafu as well.
