Very Terrible Adhesive
Adhesive mount to the phone is terrible, it barely sticks and my phone fell twice from my bike, and luckily I had a screen protector or my phone would have had a cracked screen. The mount it self is amazing but if only there was a phone case with an integrated coupling system in the case similar to quadlock, then it would have been a bang for the buck, but I can’t recommend this at all.

Feels very secure. Not sure about glueing a 3M pad to my phone
This is a decent idea. In the version I received there was a mount that is fitted securely under a bike's steering stem collar (a two-size Allen key is included). The second part clicks easily and securely into place and this is locked even more securely by moving a lever. When the lever is not in the lock position this phone part pops off with a simple twist. It's how this part is attached to the phone that is a bit of a let down for me. It is supposed to stick to the back of a phone (while heeding the advice about how smooth the receiving surface should be). I can't see anyone wanting to stick this to their phone or even their phone cover. Mine is a leather wallet case and this is on the naughty list anyway. Basically, you'll probably have to think about buying a case specially for gluing this to. Maybe one of those universal beach pouches would be good for it and generic too? The instructions hint at a better variation that has straps going around the phone. For added security there is a strap to go in the lanyard eye of your phone cover and then tighten on to the holder. In the event that your phone did fall off the mount at least it won't go skidding across the tarmac like a curling stone.

Broke during first ride
Thought I'd try this phone holder/mount as seemed fairly sturdy from pictures. How wrong can you be!!Although the support arm is very sturdy and fits easily under existing top cap, the actual mechanism body has sheared 2 of the lips that keep it connected, with only 1 and the screw still holding it together. The ride I did was a quick 18 miles on the road as well, so this would probably break within the first 5 mins if fitted to a mountain bike and taken off road.
