Q: Are these ok for when its raining and there is puddles on the pavement thanks in advance

This is my second pair of the ladies peak lace up boots and I have found them to be great in the rain and have never had wet feet in the years I have worn them. Hope this helps.

Q: Im a uk size 8 which is usualy a 42 in eu sizing but on here it says 41?. has any one else in uk a size 8 ordered snd found the fit right

If it helps. I am a size 38 or 4 and a half. Ordered size 5 to leave room for thick socks. Still roomy.

Q: What are they like to wear on a very hot day?

These work fine when it's hot out. The only weather I wouldn't recommend is the pouring rain. These are only mildly water resistant and wouldn't do well in soaking weather.

Q: Is it wise to get a larger size if you need to fit orthopaedic insoles

I have found a size 6 very generous. I believe I could take up the ‘excess’ by wearing thicker socks, possibly insoles and tightening the laces more, but choose to have a looser fit, to accommodate my wide foot. Depending on the thickness of your orthotics and preference for comfort, I think you could get away with your normal size. I hope this helps.
