Love this highlighter. I recently switched my makeup routine to all RMS. Absolutely thrilled that I can finally get my routine to such a simple beautiful look. No cluttered makeup drawer or travel bag. This is the first powder product that I’ve tried from the brand. It’s a healthy color and doesn’t go on too shimmery. It’s a buildable product.

63 yo. I love RMS blushes. So I pretty much knew I'd love the highlighter. All their products truly are geared for mature women, as well as younger women. The highlight is subtle, at first I thought I didn't get any on my brush but when I dusted it on my cheekbones, the highlight was perfect. Not shiny or metallic just subtle. Please use the right brush. I know RMS sells one and I may purchase later but I used a Real Techniques blush brush which is super soft. Perfect for laying down the right amount of highlighter.

This is the most perfect subtle dewy highlighter ever! It is not a chunky glitter nor is it a really shiny wet looking highlighter. It just looks perfectly natural and gives skin a very healthy glow. It’s subtle so if you’re looking for an over the top clownish glow, this isn’t for you. But if you want something for an everyday buildable glow this is it! You can apply a light layer and have it be work appropriate or add a little extra for dressing it up. It’s gorgeous on face, eyes, etc. It is long lasting, even in sunny, humid, sweaty conditions. It does not settle into nor highlight pores and fine lines. It’s truly amazing! A little goes a long way so despite the higher cost it’s worth it because I’m not even sure how long it would take to use it all- years?! Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

Not good for me. Had major allergic reactions. Eyes watering and pain from light. Loved the color and texture of the cream.

TLDR (which, just as a PSA, belongs at the BEGINNING, not the end, of a long comment, lol. Putting it at the end defeats its purpose.): 4 stars. It's beautiful, subtle, and expensive. I'm weirdly fascinated by the glow it imparts to my face, and find myself putting it on even when I'm just sitting at home in my sh!t clothes on the weekends. This is what I guess I'd call a "buildable" highlighter. It's very subtle. You can get it to show up heavier, but to do so, you'll need a dense brush or just use your fingers. That said, I really just like the subtle glow it gives. I also put a lot more of it on than Rose Marie, if you've ever seen her ads. If I just do the light dusting that she does, absolutely NOTHING shows up unless you catch me at the right angle in direct sunlight. I LOVE that RMS Beauty products are clean and cruelty-free and biome-friendly and often refillable, which is why I wanted to try this stuff after seeing Rose Marie's ads. It says it's gel- or cream-to powder. It's kind of... hard? Which I guess is how it ends up so subtle. I am 56 and have a little bit of freckling and a few dark spots, but generally good clear skin. I actually think this works even better on bare skin than it does over foundation. Although it's a bit warm toned, I would call it neutral to warm. If you are a 20-year-old Irish woman with pink-toned, pale, creamy, flawless skin, I'm not certain this would be your best color, but otherwise, I think it would work well for most skin tones. I had to knock off a star for the expense. There are so many really nice makeup brands out now that are both cruelty-free AND reasonably priced. I don't for a minute think that uber expensive makeup is worth the cost. UNfortunately, I haven't found another item that compares with this one, but FORtunately, it's on the lower end of unreasonable, so I might make it one of my few splurge purchases. LOL

There is no doubt that this is a gorgeous, beautiful formula. It sits very well on the skin and doesn’t look glittery. It almost leaves a “wet” sheen on the skin. Unfortunately, this is not at all neutral on my fair, cool, very pink leaning skin. It is also too dark for me to wear as a highlighter on my face . While it doesn’t work on my face, I can wear it on my legs and shoulders and it imparts a lovely, healthy sheen when I use a large fluffy brush to add some life to my skin. Highlighter - especially one that is so finely milled and without glitter- imparts a healthy looking glow that is so attractive. If this formula ever comes out in a shade that has a pale, cool, soft pink, I will be the first to snatch it up. I really love this brand’s blush and bronzer formula too- and luckily there are shades in the line that are great for cool toned skin.

The product itself is absolutely stunning, however I did get a reaction from it. It created a sort of rash like texture on my skin. Shame because it was beautiful! Customer service was amazing though. Recommend buying from seller 5/5. Due to the reaction I had I can’t give the product 5/5 but I’m sure for many others it would be. Can be used lightly all over the face or as an actual highlighter.
