My dog is an anxious mess in the car and suffers from separation anxiety when we leave her. I've been trying many products to try and help calm her down a little, but nothing seems to have worked. After a week of using these chews they do seem to have made a different (more so in the car). She lays down and sleeps now whereas before she would cry. A really great part of these chews is they are easy to feed to her. She loves how they taste so there is no stress in giving them to her. You get a lot of chews in the tub so there is value for money. All in all, I can't fault these! Worth a try!

IMO - great product has the desired effect on our dogs.

I started using Zesty Paws Calming Chews for my dog a few months ago, mostly to help with his separation anxiety and general nervousness around other dogs and people. I wasn’t expecting miracles—but I’ve genuinely noticed a shift. He’s more settled when I leave the house, and our walks feel smoother, less reactive, more connected.The ingredients feel thoughtfully chosen—L-theanine, chamomile, and ashwagandha are all ones I trust for gentle calming support. There’s also a bit of hemp seed, which I think adds to the grounding effect. He’s still himself, just a little more emotionally balanced.He’s about 12kg and the tub lasts us a good while, especially since I only give it when I know he’ll need that extra support. It’s become part of our wellness toolkit—something I reach for with trust.

Nice packaging, easyish to open. Took a few attempts to get my dog to eat them as he wasn’t sure on the smell but with a bit of peanut butter he ate them. Now he takes them without worry. Regarding their effects on him not sure if I’ve seen any difference yet but it’s still early days.

Sadly, this did nothing for my Chihuahua; he acts just like the "Devil Sporn" - Sorry, thumbs down from me

Bought these for my dog that can be quite hyperactive and excited - didn’t see a difference in behaviour at all! Whilst my dog seemed to enjoy the treat, it did not make him calmer or relaxed. They may work for some dogs but not all.

Great product, very palatable, my dog eats them super well and seems to be settling better on an evening. Would recommend. Smell quite strong. Box of 90 lasts 3 months for my pup!

I read all the reviews and did a lot of research before buying. My dog is a mixed rescue terrier who is highly reactive to cars, trucks bin men . Terrified of loud noises barks at every noise . Highly intelligent but extremely anxious . I tried her with these at first she’d take them from me as a treat , didn’t really notice much for the first coupleOf weeks apart from you was panting a lot and her bowels were loose. She realised what was happening so I hid them in her food then a while later I did notice she was calming down ever so slightly. I could walk her with my other dogs which I always do anyway but I could walk past other people with dogs and she wouldn’t react. Amazing. She only barked at noisy trucks not all vehicles which was such an improvement was very pleased. So continued using them been using them for a month now at least. But now she pants excessively after taking one and retreats to her bed upstairs. She goes on walks but has started to be anxious again and seems a frightened little girl again . Do they wear off? Do the dogs become immune to them? Who knows. Now she seems sad and anxious with loose bowels , I don’t think there helping anymore. I’m going to stop them and see how she is without them and maybe try an alternative brand .
