Hinge slides very smoothly, but the first screw I tried broke before it was fully seated, despite predrilling. I didn't really feel any resistance, it just snapped off all of a sudden. Holes were large enough to use larger drywall screws to install. Using it to connect two cornhole boards for storage, it should work well with beefier screws.
