This was a Christmas present for someone who is not deeply interested in Art, but wanted to know a little about Lowry. Just right - a good balance of information on the artist and pictures of his paintings. Excellent fast delivery despite the Christmas rush.

Excellent quality introduction by the author that may correct some of the distortions of the film “Mrs Lowry and son”. The reproductions of Lowry’s work are extensive and of excellent quality. The quality of the hard cover book is excellent Very good value for money.
