Hydro Flask Standard Mouth Lid - Replacement Top for Sports Caps Water Bottle Accessories

Good replacement lids for hydro flasks. Please ignore the review that says they don't fit. The description clearly states it's for a Hydro Flask, which is a specific brand, not just any old bottle that any person may use for water! These lids fit well and do the job as well as the original.

Seems to be very well made, and nice and sturdy.Fits hydroflask well and feels secure.Doesn’t quote provide the water-tight fit I was expecting though.Pack of two so you have one spare - but both don’t provide absolutely water tight seal.Carry handle is very comparable to hold.

The media could not be loaded. I tested these bottle lids as I consider my role as a tester is to take the try to tell consumers what they are actually getting for their money. From the sales particulars it is not clear what you are getting as the sales photos say these fit bottle with a mouth of 1.91 inches yet the sales narrative says it fits “narrow mouth bottles with a diameter of approximately 1.7 inches”So which is it? 1.91 or 1.7 inches?The answer I concluded, was neither.As soon as they arrived I measure the stoppers, they are 1.5 inches diameter at the narrowest point that goes into the bottle (see photo), slightly wider at 1.8 inches on top.I rummaged through the kids’ drawer of bottles and found two models of bottle with opening diameter of 1.91 inches and stoppers that measured 1.5 inches at the narrowest point (see photos).I have posted a photo of the stopper on top of my existing stopper to show they are identical in size. At this point I was feeling enthusiastic that I had a couple of matchesIt all went to pot when I tried to replace the existing stoppers with the new identical sized one. I have posted a photo of one bottle showing the stopper only half way in and a video of me attempting to put the stopper into the second bottle.It is clear if you look at the photo of the new stopper on top of the existing blue one that the threads are a different size – these stoppers have much larger threads than either of my existing bottles so they are never going to fit.Given I purchased both bottles from different high street stores I am inclined to believe my bottles have standard sized threads and these stoppers are not made to fit a UK standard bottle.These stoppers were £7.50 each at the time of testing. Considering the risk that the threads may not fit your bottle even if the stopper did fit in I’m inclined to suggest spend a few pounds and buying a whole new bottle.I cannot recommend.

Quality looks good.Unfortunately no use for any of the many bottles we have in the house.It's the narrow lid with the carry handle I chose.Description said compatible with various volumes of hydro flasks, I thought hydro flask was a fancy name for a water bottle??Description gave a measurement of 1.7, it didn't say mm/cm/inches/feet/litres.Description could be clearer.The diameter of the thread is approximately 40mm so it didn't fit the metal bottles I intended it for which were 35mm necks.Nor did it fit large kids bottles which are around 55mm.Please check before ordering as they are not cheap.I've added some images to show sizes and comparisons with other bottles.

There’s nothing worse than when a perfectly functional water bottle loses a top, a top breaks, or the gasket goes missing. I refuse to buy a whole new bottle.I’m really glad to see that you can even get replacement tops without having to buy a whole new bottle, a bonus really.I got these to replace the top on one of my water bottles that is brilliant for keeping things hot, but the current top doesn’t have a carry handle so it’s cumbersome to carry at work while also carrying a bag, or paperwork.Thankfully most bottle tops these days fit into two standard sizes - narrow and wide mouth, so they can be pretty much interchangeable.These tops fit well to the container in question (and my others of the same size should they need an additonal top) and don’t leak.The value for two replacement lids is, I think, well worth it. Way better than having to buy a whole new stainless steel container to replace malfunctioning or inadequate lids.

Before I wrote this review I read the other reviews. Lets be clear this will not fit all your other water bottles. It screws inside your bottle not around the lip and is fairly narrow.Please read the advert and understand the product.It is advertised for "hydro" bottles, it will not fit all hydro products but will fit many other makes other than "hydro"This fits my hydro bottle perfectly as well as another (not allowed to mention the make) branded bottle that I own. It is not a proprietary size, it will fit other bottles with the standard size neck of this type.It is good quality, in fact a very solid piece, I pulled on the handle and found it to be very strong. Filled the flask with water, put the top on, followed by an hour upside down and there were zero leaks

These are brilliant lids that are good replacements for any damaged lids or if you just want a lid with a handle. Good value and well made.
