Made my printer functional and reliable
I have had various issues with my K1, but one of the worst has been filament clogging and jamming. I have gone through 3 creality nozzles, all of which failed in the same way. The temperature probe failed. In 2 cases it became detached from the ceramic and on the third it started failing to read temperature properly, resulting in an aborted print. This kit from Micro Swiss has been a massive improvement, I've not had a single issue with clogging or jamming and it's not failed once. It's better designed and made than the creality original. Flow rate seems more consistent and print quality has improved. I would consider this an essential upgrade for the K1.

great upgrade
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Upgrade – Flawless Prints and Easy Setup! The Micro Swiss FlowTech hotend is a fantastic upgrade for my Creality printer. Installation was straightforward, and the build quality is top-notch — you can tell it’s precision-engineered. Once installed, I immediately noticed smoother extrusion, faster heat-up times, and zero clogging, even with tricky filaments like TPU and PETG. Prints come out cleaner, with sharper details and more consistent layer lines. The all-metal design also handles higher temperatures perfectly. It’s definitely one of the best hotend upgrades you can get for a Creality K-series printer. Totally worth it!

Absolute disaster
Fixed it to my K1 max as an upgrade, within a few prints it completely blocked and helped ruin my extruder. Went back to stock, no more problems.

Dubious Quality Control
I have E3D Revos fitted to my other printers, and wanted a "fast change" nozzle system on my K1 Max - so I decided to try this. After the usual struggles with the glue that Creality apply to the heater and thermistor plugs, I powered up the K1 Max, only to discover that the heater core wasn't working at all. I disconnected the heater core plug and connected a multimeter to it, expecting to see 9 or 10 ohms resistance - but it was open circuit. I then connected the multimeter directly to the heater core contacts - again, open circuit. E3D perform a final test on all their Revo hotends, but evidently Micro Swiss don't. The engineering quality looks externally top notch, but they need to improve their quality control. I reported it as DOA to Amazon, who shipped a replacement straight away. 10/10 to Amazon - so I'd recommend ordering via Amazon rather than a third party for this reason. I'd also recommend checking the heater core with a multimeter before you fit it! The replacement arrived the next day, and it works fine. Other than running the standard internal K1 Max tuning tests I changed nothing else - and a 90 minute print ran flawlessly, with the usual K1 Max print quality. My experience was that fitting the hotend is a lot easier with the K1 Max laid down on its side. That makes access to the plugs (and especially the glue removal) much easier. I recommend inserting the two plugs first, as the smaller thermistor one has limited access with the hotend in place. You can then insert and semi tighten one of the hotend bolts, slot one side of the hotend flange onto it, and then wiggle the second bolt in. To avoid potential filament leaks, don't forget to tighten the nozzle itself to the recommended 15 inch pounds torque So, overall a very good upgrade to the K1 Max if you're looking for a quick swap facility (apparently a Creality equivalent is in the pipeline, but I couldn't get a release date from them). Nozzle swapping does indeed seem to be very straightforward, but not yet tested. The only nagging doubt I have is over the fact that the standard K1 Max nozzle had thermal compound on the upper end that inserts into the heat break. Micro Swiss don't supply thermal compound and they don't suggest its application to the insert when inserting and securing it to the heat break with the grub screw. So I'm going to keep an eye on that, and will order some Slice Engineering boron nitride compound as a possible "belt and braces" upgrade. In summary - a great product, but Micro Swiss need to improve their quality control.

Amazing upgrade for the K1
I was getting a lot of heat creep with the stock nozzle causing frequent blockages. This has stopped all of that and makes it so easy to change nozzle sizes

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH NEW VERSION OF K1 MAX
This kit is not compatible with the K1 Max version that uses the unicorn nozzle. It is unusable for me and this information should be included in the product information.

One of the best and easiest upgrades you can do.
So, when I got my new K1 Max, I was ecstatic. From opening the box to my first benchy...less than 45 minutes total. Now...there was NOTHING wrong with the printer AT ALL. It's a phenomenal machine right out of the box. But...I wanted to make sure I had replacements "on hand" for the inevitable. That included a replacement hotend. I did order a replacement direct from Creality, but then started reading about MicroSwiss and all the other print fanatics out there with their reviews. So, I decided to bite the bullet and order one of those the K1 Max as well...and a hardened steel 0.4mm nozzle. When it came to replace my first hotend, I skipped the stock replacement and decided to throw this in first. And I have not - ever - been disappointed. This thing really is great! Is it better than stock? Maybe? I am not a "print-head fanatic" by any means, so I never got into EVERY single aspect of this. All I know is that since I've changed it out...I've only had issues that were on ME (or filament)...never with the hotend. It prints flawlessly...every single time. It's quick, maybe even quicker (higher flow) than stock, but I've never messed with max flow rate. All I know is I can throw anything at it and it just prints. I only print PLA and PLA-CF, but even then...no swapping, no clogs, no stringing...nothing! Now, I do have some fat fingers, so trying to get it installed - only because of the tiny pins on the printer itself - was just a bit tight, but installation was straight-forward and easy. And, just having the option to do a COLD swap - if and when needed - is just icing on the cake. I've purchased several other hardened steel nozzles just to have - another 0.4mm and a 0.2 for finer details - and just got the diamond tip from MicroSwiss itself...again...just to have. That original nozzle in the FlowTech hotend has nearly 1,000 hours on it now, and it's still as good as the first day I dropped it in.
