Must Read from Arnold
I absolutely loved every page of this book. So much so, I bought a copy for my son and I'm going to drop it off to him myself, in-person, in another state. Why did you like this specific book? Why is it so important? The way Arnold articulated his messages and organized the book was derived from his own life but with both truth and respect for the reader. He establishes his premises based on his life experiences and does site other people that have used the same or similar strategies to get things done. This entire book was funny, thoughtful, candid and 100% interested in helping the reader build out their lives and goals better.Does Arnold Schwarzenegger have the right to be arrogant? Maybe. Is he at all in this book? Nope.He is honest. And he is also very moving with his stories, especially growing up in Austria. But most importantly, this book does have the power to inspire and change the trajectory of a life or two.And it dismisses any bullshit excuses individuals have created for themselves to be less than what their goals and ideals tell them they should be.It's a great read with better advice and diection than I could give or would have. Also, not every idea needs to be adhered to. Even a few of Arnold's frameworks will help move a person forward. One last thing. This isn't a get rich quick book. If that's what you want, this is not the right book. This book is about looking at your raw building blocks that are already in you and making a mountain out of them.I already liked Arnold because of his attitude and his public persona. He just gave everyone his roadmap of how he did it and challenged us to make it our own. Absolutely fantastic.

A Beacon of Inspiration: How Arnold's Journey Lit My Path
From the moment I turned the first page of I felt as though I was embarking on a journey both profound and intimately personal. This book is more than a mere memoir or a guide to success; it is a testament to the relentless human spirit, a spirit that Arnold embodies and that has profoundly impacted my life.Growing up, I often found myself lost in a sea of uncertainty, grappling with the confines of my circumstances much like Arnold did in his rural Austrian hometown. His story, narrated in a voice so earnest and powerful, resonated with me on a deeply emotional level. It was as if his words were a guiding light through my own struggles, illuminating a path I hadn't known existed.Arnold’s seven rules, distilled from his extraordinary journey of ceaseless reinvention and achievement, are not just principles for success but are lifelines for anyone seeking purpose. His lessons, born from a blend of hard work, resilience, and a steadfast commitment to being useful, struck a chord within me. The book lays bare his life's successes and failures, some famously known and others shared for the first time, creating a tapestry of experiences that are both inspiring and deeply human. One of the most moving aspects of Arnold's narrative is his insistence on self-reliance. His belief that "you are all you need" is a powerful call to action, one that encouraged me to look within and muster the courage to climb my own ladder out of self-pity and towards a life of purpose. His story is a poignant reminder that our greatest challenges often forge our most invaluable tools. As I journeyed through the pages of "Be Useful," I laughed, I cried, and most importantly, I learned. Arnold's life story, while unique in its grandeur, felt universally applicable, encouraging me to dream big and work tirelessly towards those dreams. His father's simple yet profound adage, "be useful," became a mantra in my own life, guiding me to strive not just for personal success but for a life of meaningful contribution. In conclusion, this book is a life-changing experience. It is a story of hope, resilience, and the unyielding power of the human spirit. Arnold Schwarzenegger's journey, so beautifully narrated, is a source of inspiration that has profoundly changed my life. It's a reminder that no matter where we come from, we have the power to shape our destiny. Thank you Arnold and as I fail I will always learn and tell myself, "I'll be back".

Life's Toolbox Just Got an Upgrade!
Hold onto your hats, folks, because "Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life" isn't just a book; it's a life-changer disguised as paper and ink.First off, let's talk about the title. "Be Useful." I thought I was useful before, but this book showed me I was just operating at an amateur level of usefulness. Now, I'm like a Swiss Army Knife of life skills. Need someone to motivate you? I'm there. You'd not find the seven tools in your standard hardware store. There's no hammer or screwdriver, but there are tools for conquering fears, mastering communication, and even turning failures into a comedy show. Yes, you read that right. I've started laughing at my mistakes instead of crying, and let me tell you, it's way more fun. Each chapter is like a lightbulb moment. I had so many "Aha!" experiences reading this book that I'm considering billing the author for my increased electricity bill. The humor sprinkled throughout is the cherry on top. It's like having a wise, slightly sarcastic mentor guiding you through the maze of life. I laughed, I pondered, I even did a few "I-see-what-you-did-there" nods."Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life" is more than just a book; it's a companion for anyone who wants to upgrade their life. Whether you're a CEO, a stay-at-home parent, or a professional couch potato, there's something in here for you. Five stars for making self-help not only helpful but hilariously fun!

Solid Advice.
I enjoyed reading this. There’s lots of solid common-sense advice within these pages. Work hard, look after yourself, be charitable. One nitpick. The idea pushed in the book that anyone can achieve “Arnold” levels of success if only we have a clear vision and a strong work ethic is a bit of a stretch. Luck and talent were also factors in his meteoric rise, though they barely get mentioned as contributing elements in Arnold’s life. However! I have no doubt if you follow Mr. Schwarzenegger’s advice, only positive things will happen to you and the people around you.

For Arnold’s fan and for men
I have always been an Arnold’s fan since my childhood, he is an inspiring and funny actor.Let’s talk about this book, I am sure many will agree with me that this book is more for men. He talked a lot about bodybuilding, he was a champion Mr Olympia and won plenty of titles. Politics, because he was the governor of California and about movies. But he said something in Page 110 that I don’t agree and obviously no women will do that, unless we are crazy and want to be ill, I cited :« First of all, rest is for babies and relaxation is for retired people. »Women can’t listen to that. My mom did it and she is in heaven. No rest, no relaxation that is not good for our health. We are going to be sick so is it really worth it? No. Women are not made to be hard-worker like men. Many men do it but I saw some men here in comments agreeing that this is not a good advice. He is right when he says that we have to give back, to be kind and help people in this world. We have to be useful, to find our purpose and to be happy. Here is the 7 tools :- Have a clear vision- Never think small- Work your ass off- Sell, sell, sell- Shift gears- Shut your mouth, open your minds- Break your mirrors« When we make giving back a part of life, when we break our mirrors so we can see all the people behind the glass who could use our help, that’s when we all benefit. »

Inspiring, thoroughly honest with values that are getting more and more lost in our modern society
Arnold's tools for life are nothing new but timeless as he say's and my grandparents gave me these values and tools for my life. A generation in which backbone, a sense of responsibility and thoughtfulness were still deeply anchored and that seems to get more and more lost in our days. But our society needs more of these timeless values and tools again. Politicians, businessmen & women, supervisors, craftsmen and so on, to teach the next generation and not to run away when it's getting difficult or you messed something up. And that's why i can only recommend this book as it's absolutely honest and brings you (back) in mind, what's important not only for your personal life but for the people around you and our society. We would love to meet you Arnold one day and to swap a few stories. For over five years we've travelled the world on our motorcycles with nothing more than a tent and what fits on the bike. Many people told us, that's not possible but we've made it and it was a life changing experience. The road teached us so many lessons and showed us the beauty of our fragile world. But this journey wouldn't have been possible without the kindness and help of so many people around the globe, no matter what simple life they had. They gave us everything to support us and now we want to return “something” in inspiring people to achieve their own dreams, no matter it's raising a big family, building your own house or opening your own business. That's our mission…Thanks Arnold for this book and teaching us another lesson and we are pretty sure, we gonna see you somewhere along the road…Helmut & Bea
