There is a small hidden zipper that the stuffing can be removed through. I removed some of the stuffing from one, that was too stiff for me. All the stuffing can be removed, and the cover washed. I washed them with stuffing still in-they dried quickly, and were like new. I hope this helps you. **Q: Does this pillow have a handle on each end like the other neck bone pillows I see?
