occasionally interseting
This is the concluding half of the author's travelogue recounting his trek through the Western cape Colony and up into what is modern-day Namibia in the 1830's. The areas he traversed were apparently somewhat uncharted but also significantly lacking in interest. The narrative mainly consists of recounting their struggles to find water and sporadic episodes with wildlife, mainly lions and rhinoceros. More important for its historical value rather than from the standpoint of "good reading"
