After a pretty exhaustive search, this is proving to be the best solution for my needs. I decided against anything with legs, as they would seem cumbersome in bed. This sits beautifully in my lap, although it does need another pillow to support it. I don't really use the page clips, but when I did try them, I was satisfied. It's possible that it's a bit overpriced, but I'm happy!

I’m one handed and I love to read before bed, but it’s very difficult for me to comfortably hold my book, and read it so that the light is hitting it right!! This book stand holds it perfectly and I can position it perfectly so that the light hits it right where it should, and just leave my book where I stop reading until tomorrow night‼️ I love it and it’s perfect for anyone‼️ I can also take my book off of it and use it as a writing desk; it’s very versatile and multi purpose❣️ I love it and anyone else who reads will love it too❣️😁

Absolutely love this!! Great for reading anywhere especially in bed Super comfortable with plenty of space for any size book or tablet. The built in shelf with page holders keeps books in place and secure. The cushion is removable for cleaning when needed. Highly recommended!!

The beanbag design of the book stand itself makes it comfortable on a lap. It's also versatile and portable enough to sit with some stability on a table. I like the color as wel. However, if you're trying to use it when propped up on your knees while laying down to read, it's a bit awkward. From that perspective, I'm unsure whether it's a good value for the money.

I really like this. I just thought it was gonna be kind of gimmicky and I wouldn’t use it, but I use it a lot and not just for reading for my tablet for my laptop. It really comes in handy.

This lap book stand is fantastic. Better than expected. I like to read, especially my study Bible which is big and on the heavy side. The beanbag keeps it stable and I can angle it for easier reading.

My mother in law complained to me that she couldn’t read books as much as she wanted to anymore because she had trouble holding the book physically. After some time she’d get a pain in her neck or her hands. I got this to test it out and loved it so much I kept one for myself. I have a frozen shoulder injury and I realized that holding my phone in my hand to text, read, scroll and play DuoLingo was aggravating my injury. Now I simply keep my phone on this table top and my shoulder tension is relieved. It’s super soft, comfortable, ergonomic and easy to clean. I also like the bright color which makes it easy to spot in the living room. Highly recommend for those who are seeking relief from “tech neck”, “frozen shoulder”, or Seniors who want to keep reading. It’s worth it.
