(2-Pack) 1/4 & 5/16 x 2" Reversible Dual-Sided Hex Chuck Driver - MSHC

I’ve been searching for a bit driver that will drive roofing screws quickly. 99.9% of drivers from Lowe’s and amazon are trash. They are always to loose. Just when you start applying pressure on the screw to go through sheet metal, that’s when the screw pops out of the bit and you make a big scratch on the metal.I just bought some of these and I used them 1 day without getting super frustrated. So far they are the best bits I’ve bought on the open market. I do have a buddy that stockpiled some from an American company that went out of business several years ago. Those are a 5 out of 5 . These malco are 3out 5. 99% of other bits are a 0 out of 5. So all things considered these are ok if you can’t find anything else. They will drive screws if you are willing to be fairly careful

Very useful in the HVAC industry

I work in building maintenance and having a socket that is a reversible is a plus. The magnetic hex chuck driver will not loose the magnet using an impact driver like other so called " impact ready " magnetic nut drivers. I actually purchased another set as small gifts for friends and they are enjoyed by all. If you use these two sizes a lot then you will absolutely enjoy this item. It is not a very deep socket but great for self tapping screws.

I use these everyday for work. I used to have a Milwaukee driver that after only a couple months of use just kept gunking up from the metal that strips while working. I haven't even gone through the first bit and if there's any metal shavings I can just clean it off easily. I would recommend this to anyone because of the ease of use plus the magnet in it is very strong allowing me to use 2" hex screws without worry of it popping out

What a great little tool when working with small hex head bolts/screws. Just pull the 1/4"/5/16" "socket" off of the shaft and flip for the size you need.

These things are so simple, and so ingenious, it’s amazing they took this long to be invented. 5/16 and quarter inch in one single driver, magnetic and easy to change.
