These test strips work perfectly and give quick, clear results. Product is easy to use, recommended by wirecutter.com. And their customer service was incredibly fast, even on the weekend, answering a question I had. Five thumbs up. 😉

Super easy to use and takes no time at all to do. However, the color coding results chart is difficult to differentiate against the test strip once it’s complete. I asked several people what they thought the color we got matched up to and I heard different responses from all of them. Either way, it definitely helped gage where my water hardness was generally at and confirmed my suspicions that we had hard water in our apartment. Now I’ve been able to alter my hair care routine to minimize the damage from the hard water in our shower. If you’re looking for concrete detailed results, I wouldn’t use this product. If you just want to get an idea of what you’re dealing with then this product would be for you - and at a very reasonable price.

Does the job quick

These were simple to use We have hard water and looked into getting a water softener. After having multiple big name companies come by to give quotes we decided to give our own water a test before making any decisions. Of course these told us that our water was considered extremely hard. Which we knew. We decided to go with they install your own water softener system. To test that system out we then again tested the water. It proved to work. These little test strips are easy to read and understand the only difficult part sometimes is the colors can look very similar. We like to test things now such as sink water, and fridge water. Overall they did their job!

I needed a water hardness tester for my water softener. I have used the strip kind of water tester before and figured this should be okay to use and it was fairly cheap. When I received this product it came in your typical box and plastic container. I read the directions and did what was instructed and only put in my water for 2 seconds without removing the excess water. When I looked at the results I noticed that the colors on the results almost look identical from each other and made it virtually impossible to see the difference from the first 3 result colors. I still don’t know what the exact results are and it’s horrible off. They need to make these completely different colors rather than exactly the same.

Bought this to test the municipal supply to calibrate my softener. Worked well. After doing this I called my water dept and it confirmed the values they told me. Well worth the money.

The test strips read the hardness fine with no issues. Bought on 8/22/26 and expires on 4/1/27. The product has a 2 year shelf life and the product is 1 1/2 year old already. So the test strips being sold are only good for 6 months!!!

Worked well, just what I needed to test the effectiveness of my water softener.
