I bought these to replace my old Bowflex dumbbells after 30 years.These new dumbbells are well made. Adjustment of the weight using the center handle is easy, and more efficient than the Bowflex units.And, these fit, pretty well, on my Bowflex stand for dumbbells.

These are solid. Easy to use. Not too bulky. I've really enjoyed using these. Just be careful with your selection. If you order the wrong weight size, good luck returning it... you'll have to pay for the shipping.

Purchased for football player son so he could workout at home. The weights fall out and will not stay secure, too dangerous to allow him to use. He will end up getting hurt. Tried to return and seller sends label and you must pay to ship back. Cost to ship is $190!!! I have asked for a pre-paid label getting no response. I have asked for seller to contact me, no response. Not worth it for a product that could cause great bodily harm!!!

I just unpacked the dumbbellsx so I can’t speak to their long term durability, but so far so good. They feel and look pretty sturdy and well engineered. The only significant difference between these dumbbells and Bowflex select tech dumbbells is with these dumbbells you adjust the weight by turning the handle. With the Bowflex dumbbells, you’re just the weight by turning both end caps on each end of the dumbells.It will be much faster and easier to change the weight with these dumb compared to the Bowflex because all you have to do is turn the grip handle in the middle, which adjusts the weight on both ends of the dumbbell.With the Bowflex dumbbells, you have to turn the end caps on both ends of each dumbbell which takes twice as long. To adjust the weight on both Bowflex dumbbells, you have to turn four end caps. To adjust the weight on these dumbbells you only have to turn the one handle grip on each dumbbell.These dumbbells have a max weight of 90 pounds each same as the Bow Flex 1090 dumbbells. So far these dumbbells seem comparable to the Bowflex 1090 dumbbells but for half the cost.I will try to remember to report back in a few months once I see how well they hold up over. I currently have the Bowflex 1090 dumbbells, but I can no longer use them because the largest weights fall off and no longer stay on. Usually, they’ll stay on long enough to lift the dumbbell and carry it to your bench and then all of a sudden at some random time as you’re moving the dumbbell, the large weights will slip off on one of the dumbbells which is obviously super dangerous, and can lead to a broken foot if you’re doing curls or or a smashed face if you’re doing bench press.
