I Wrote a Book About You — A fun, fill-in-the-blank book.

This is a creative and sweet gift for a loved one! I bought and filled it out for my husband and he loved it! Highly recommend!

This book was the best gift I could’ve bought for my husband. Beware, this isn’t a quick project you can do in an hr or two. I spent time doing this project, on and off, for about 3 weeks before I finished it. Don’t let that scare you, It definitely won’t take that long for most people. This was my process and outcome: *I started by going through the book and answering each question in a separate notebook so that I could: 1. Make sure I didn’t use an answer more than once. 2. Make any changes to my answers before actually writing them in the book. *Once I had my final answers, I rewrote them into the real book (skipping and going back to any questions that had me really stumped). * Then I went back to the first question and started googling “easy to draw illustrations” of things that related to each of my answers to the questions. (I am not artistic and I truly can not draw, so the drawing portion of this project is what took the longest for me to complete. This is the main reason it took me 3 weeks to finish this book lol) *After finding an illustration that I felt I could draw decent enough to get my point across, I drew the picture in pencil first. I did this for every question that I felt I could accomplish an illustration that was properly related to my response in some way. *I then went back through the book and retraced my pencil drawings with colored gel pens and colored them in as necessary to the specific picture. (I did put a piece of white paper over each finished picture as I moved on to the next page, as to avoid the gel pens from smudging or transferring on to the page next to it, while each drawing dried). *After everything was completed and had dried, I gave the book to my husband. He had no idea that I had even bought this in the first place, so that made this gift even better. (I am terrible at keeping presents a secret and usually end up telling people what I got them or giving them such obvious “clues” that it gives away the surprise). I had intended for this book to be a Valentine’s Day present or part of his present for our 2nd wedding anniversary, which was on Feb 22nd, however, because it took me so long to complete, it was just a “because I love you” present lol. I am usually really good at giving meaningful gifts but even still, this is the first gift that has ever made my husband legitimately, cry. That made all the hard work and time I invested into this book, completely worth it. He absolutely loved this book and even said, I might not be able to ever give a gift in the future that would top this book. I did include some pictures from the actual book I completed, that people can refer to when reading this long review, however, there were a few pages that included answers and illustrations that were even more meaningful to my husband than the ones shown and it’s because of how personal this gift is, that makes it such a winner. Trust me, even without going as far as I did by drawing pictures, this book is a great gift for your significant other. You won’t regret this purchase.

Got this for Father’s Day and my dad absolutely love it! I loved filling out the prompts, it took me down memory lane from when I was a child and all the quality moments my father and I spent together.

Purchased this book for my hubby for our Anniversary. It was really nice. I enjoyed writing in it. The words are written on the page to prompt you to fill in the blank. Whoever thought of this was very creative. I enjoyed my hubby reading his book that was worded all about him and I enjoyed listening to him. We both awed and laughed. His exact words “this was good, I needed this, thank you” 😍 (Patting myself on the back…I did good with this one☺️) Please purchase this book if you are looking for something special, thoughtful, and different. Make sure you have at least a day or more prior to giving it as a gift. That way you can take your time to fill in those blanks.

I bought this book for a graduation gift. I really loved the idea of this book. The quality is excellent. The only thing I didnt like is some of it is repetitive but just worded differently.

This book was a cute little project for my partner. Something they could keep for a long time, while reminding them all the things I've noticed about them in the best ways. I sat up filling this out over a short period of time. It was easy to know where your fill-in spots were. The book cover was hard and the pages felt thick enough to last for a long time. We have had this book for a good while now and it still brings my partner joy. Not only are you showing them just how much you care about them, but you are giving them a very special memory they can keep forever. I recommend this if you want to surprise your partner with something cute and memorable.

This book was incredibly fun to fill out and my husband thought it was very cool, thoughtful, and loved getting to read it! There is a lot to the book - and is nice and long!

Good idea as a birthday gift or as an any day love gift

Most of the questions were rather repetitive in a way, and the spacing to write were a either too small or too large. But the artwork n paper quality was really good and it’s a great gift for my husband. :)
