We were looking for a quick and simple photo printer to record memories of our loved one. Raising a child means every spare minute counts towards getting work/chores done and rest. We didn't want to sacrifice quality so we gave this one a try because it's from Kodak. Oh boy are we pleased. It's very compact and light. There is just one button (power button) because it uses an app which is so easy to use. I can use the app using bluetooth or just plug my phone in the phone jack. Quality of the photos are very very good. I don't see any grains or smears and it shows flaws in the photos on the ones I took it in the wrong lighting. The film paper goes back and forth 4 times (yellow layer, magenta layer, cyan layer, lamination layer) which takes only 30 or so seconds. We are well pleased and it's worth every penny! We also purchased the polaroid camera. Can't wait to use it!

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.I purchased the KODAK Dock Era 4x6'' Desktop Photo Printer as a Christmas gift for my mom and its been an absolute nightmare. The product quality is decent. It's an all plastic printer that makes decent prints but the product quality is cheaply made and customer service is trash.1st strike:I ordered the 90 sheet bundle, it was back ordered, took a month to arrive and when it did it only contained 50 sheets. I contacted customer service v and they sent me in loops until the return window closed.2nd strike:About 3 months after purchase mine stopped powering up, regardless of how many times I'd push the power button, plug+unplug the cable, etc. Of course, this was outside of the return window so I couldn't return it and was left dealing with customer service.3rd strike:I contacted customer service via the KODAK online portal and it doesn't give you an option to "cc" yourself when you send the email, erasing any proof you sent it. Which would be fine if they responded but they DON'T. I searched my inbox, spam , etc. and it's like my email just disappeared into the ether. And that was a month ago. So now Im crossing my fingers that I'll be able to get a real person on the phone with customer service because I have a feeling this wont yield any fruitful results either. My advice is to find another photo printer brand because the Kodak brand has lost its way. It is a bad value for the money you pay.

I am truly impressed with the Dock Era plus model and its results in printing photos.As a busy parent, capturing and preserving family moments is incredibly important to me. I have a ton of photos saved on my phone that never get looked at by anyone. The process of going to websites to print and waiting for the photos to be delivered is quite annoying and frustrating. So, I started looking for products that could easily print photos from my phone.One of the important features I needed was the ability to dock my phone. I hate a how products nowadays all only support Bluetooth. I find Bluetooth a must-have option, but I just don’t really care to go through the process to connect my device, etc. I wanted an easier process than that. Well this had it all. The process of printing photo couldn’t be simpler. The UI made it a breeze to select the images and it even has basic editing tools for quick touch-ups.I love that I can print any of my pictures on my phone at any time. While I didn’t expect much about the quality, it actually surprised me. My photos come out crisp, clear, and true to color. I highly recommend Dock Era Plus.

The set up was a little more complicated than the small paper instructions and the YouTube video I watched. My daughter finally figured it out. It took awhile. Once I got it working the photo came out nice. Haven't used it again yet. Print speed is fine, unknown battery life as I plug it in. Money spent was good. Size of photo is fine. The paper instruction as to how it is to be placed in the printer was contradictory. One said the paper logo up and the other said down. Make sure the Logo on the paper is down (in other words you won't see the logo when ready to print).

I love this! I've used it to make two scrapbooks already. It's so convenient to print and scrapbook at home without having to go to a store to get photos printed or pay a crazy price for a digital book. It was super easy to set up and sync to my Android phone. Reloading the blank sheets is a breeze. I also love being able to edit for any final touches. It doesn't make much noise while printing. It usually takes 2-3 minutes between each print, and you can select multiples. Recommended

Got this for my daughter from Santa. The direct docking never worked. Tried to get help from Kodak directly. The tech support person was useless. Told me to hit a non existent reset button. I had to tell my kid that the elf in charge was off drinking maple syrup with Buddy. Anyhow, they asked me questions about my address for a replacement. Then after 10 days I heard nothing so I did an Amazon replacement. That came today. Same issue with multiple devices using lighting adapter or usb c. It will charge the device and it performed a firmware update on both printers so I know there is a connection. Just wouldn’t ever allow a print without Bluetooth which tends to take a long time to connect. She still likes it with the phone we have her to take pictures but plugging in our other phones was supposed to be simple.

There seem to be quite a few of these types of printers on the market now. Opted for this one after much research. Only used it once so far but have to say, am not disappointed by my choice. Easy set-up, worked perfectly, and photos are really good quality. Ability to edit and give different filters, borders, colour depth, etc, are really simple to use and effective. A really good buy !!

I am happy with this . Please know it only connects initially to your Bluetooth through its app ? It doesn’t just show up on your device . Once that got figured it’s ready to go out of box just put your paper glossy side up . Prints decent . I don’t know about archival but I had grad pictures that were printed on paper to start and I reprinted them with this and it was much better . Works good would buy again
