Great set, especially for the price. I wish there was a little more flexibility on the paddle tweezers and straight tweezers but for the others you’re not realistically going to need to open them any wider. Good weight and size. Definitely recommend the 8 inch over the 6 inch. Size matters.

I'm reviewing the PETHOMKIT 6 Pcs Kitchen Tweezer Tongs Set, 8" in black.These kitchen tweezers are easy to grasp and use. There are grooves molded into the sides so you can get a good grip on these tweezers. The ends are rounded, and the insides of these tips have more grooves to help grip the food or decoration you're moving/plating/placing.They easily pick up small food items for placement. I enjoy baking and decorating birthday cakes for our grandchildren, and these tweezers are perfect for placing decorative items on the cakes. They would be great for any type of plating and are long enough to get pickles or olives out of the jar.There are 6 different shapes, so I have a variety of angles to work with. The black finish is smooth without scratches or chips and is an attractive neutral color. They're a nice weight, light enough to be comfortable while using, but heavy enough to be durable.Because they're made of stainless steel, these would be suitable for a number of uses outside of the kitchen, like crafting, gardening, or working in an aquarium. However, I wouldn't use them in the kitchen again after using them for one of these other purposes.At $16.99 for 6 tweezers, that comes to $2.12 each, which I find to be a good value. I would purchase these again.As a side note, this PETHOMKIT Tweezer Tongs Set is made in China.

These are really cool for anyone who likes to cook/bake.Especially if you’re into doing detailed things on baking or with decorating or garnishes.These ‘tweezers’ also grab really well. Each pair have grooves where you’d ’pinch’, and they can grab really well.I also like these for flipping smaller items in my frying pan, especially if I am deep frying with oil. Allows you to move food around with more precision.The tweezers easily have picked everything up from chicken thighs to very small things like diced veg.I also have arthritis and find that these are easy for my hands to hold. They’re light and don’t cause me discomfort when I’m holding them for extended periods of standing and cooking. My fingers aren’t getting super fatigued as it doesn’t take much to grab with these.I ordered these thinking they’d be just a fun kitchen accessory. I like they sort of look like medical equipment (they’d make great self serve utensils for buffets where you have smaller items like cheese slices, especially for a Halloween or themed get together). They’re honestly more useful than I thought and I’m reaching for them more often than I thought I would.Even just to cook sausages for breakfast. It’s easier for me to confidently grab with these than use the spatula.

At first, I didn't think the "Kitchen Tweezer Tongs Set, 6 Pcs Kitchen Tweezers, 8" ... Stainless-Steel ...Culinary ...Black" were going to be fine enough for the detailed work I had in mind. But they are working great and pick up the tiny decorative candy balls & shapes for placing on cookies and cakes. Perfect for big spices such as peppercorns and allspice. For arranging blueberries, raspberries and smaller berries & fruits. For herb sprigs (parsley, thyme, dill etc). With the 6 different pieces in the set, I've got a variety to choose from depending on the task. I use these a lot more than I thought I would. They feel solid and sturdy in my hands and have a non-slip area for your fingers, so they don't slide around. I use an indoor electric cooking grill daily and I appreciate these for flipping small, thinly sliced foods such as mushrooms, zucchini & summer squash slices, halved serrano and habanero peppers etc. I haven't made eggs yet but I'm betting they will be a game changer for getting that accidental piece of eggshell out! This set of tweezers/tongs comes in a navy blue cardstock box, with white lettering saying "PETHOMKIT Kitchen Utensils". Both ends of the box were taped shut. Inside, each of the tweezers was in a separate open-ended plastic bag, to ensure they couldn't scratch each other; and the whole set was wrapped in a piece of white tissue paper to fill the box as snugly as possible with no room for movement.The tweezers each come with a tiny clear rubber band to hold the tips together when not in use. They seem to be made of a magnetic grade of stainless steel, and have some kind of smoothly-applied black coating. There are ridges molded into the tips and the finger-grip areas, for better traction. The tips meet evenly, and the long 8-inch length lets them reach much further into tight spaces than my other tweezers.
