Easy to install and great looking lights

I love these lights, they were easy to install with clear instructions on how to change the brightness, duration etc. The cables supplied are a great length and the number stickers supplied are a great way to keep track to ensure you connect the cables to the unit in the correct sequence. The daylight sensor supplied ensures the lights only activate when needed. Highly recommend.

After installation the lights set working great ,no problem with installation,nice colour of the light, everything is in clear instructions.

I had to wait to get this installed and when my electrician tried to install it, the controller did not work, there were four ports also that did not work and of the first four LED strips that I opened, only three were working. My advice is if you are going to buy this, check it straight away as otherwise you can lose money.

This set of stairs lights looks amazing once you get them all set up but that takes a fair amount of time, and you need to be happy with electric wiring. In the set you get 4 bags of LED light strips that you can cut shorter if you need to but as my stairs are 1m wide these were a perfect length, you do want to make sure you get them perfectly centre aligned so the light glows out evenly from the sides and doesn't look odd. Each bag has a roll with 4 light strips on each so you get 16 in total. Each one is connected via a little white clip, and these go into an extension cable of which all 16 of the extension cables are 6m in length. The extensions cables then all come back to controller box which also have the two motion sensors plugged into it and these can then be run one to the top of the stairs and one to the bottom. the final cable from the controller goes to the power transformer which is a metal box and that then also has screw fit wiring to connect the power cable which goes to a 3pin plug. The transformer feels very open and exposed with the metal box and would have been nice to have the wiring all connected up and a plastic surround, so you feel more comfortable mounting that out of sight. When all connected the lights are super nice and bright. Overall, it’s a good set but just needs so protection around the transformer and be prepared for a long install time with all the wiring you need to do. This does give you great flexibility though for how you want to set it up in your house. It was priced at £299.99 at time of writing this review but it now has no price. It needs to be much less than that to make it value for money and competitive with other sets.

Setting up and extending the lights was incredibly straightforward; the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I would definitely recommend this product.

Its comprehensive nature, coupled with high-quality components, has made it a worthwhile investment for creating a safer and more inviting environment on my staircase.

For this to look good the stairs need to have at least 8-10mm overhang for it to be mounted top down, it would look even better if there is a recess to hide the hole for the wires to pass through to under the stairs. At eye level you will see the exposed light fittings and cable access holes on the steps at eye level, we get used to it but if finishing is not good it will show. Love the way the come on when sensing motion at the top or at the bottom, it does make the place look smart. We managed to do the install ourselves but let our electrician to wire a power supply to the transformer. Overall with a bit of planning it is not hard to do. Unlike some of the rope or string LEDs where the dots are far apart this gives a more even spread of light, we don't like LED spots so we are happy with this set.
